Samuel Griffin said, "Grandfather, my feelings for Emma are serious."
Mr. Griffin's face suddenly turned red with anger as he coldly looked at Emma Bollock, "Emma, weren't you fond of Lucas..."
Considering that Amanda Jenkins was present, Mr. Griffin did not continue and instead angrily slapped the dining table, "Nonsense! This is utter nonsense!"
Kent was so frightened that he put down his chopsticks.
Lucas Griffin beckoned him over, and, once Kent approached, gently picked him up and placed him on his lap, "Come on, daddy will feed you."
His expression was indifferent, seemingly oblivious to everything happening around him.
Daddy?!
Emma Bollock looked at the boy in Lucas's arms in shock, her heart shuddering violently.
Then she glanced at Amanda Jenkins sitting nearby...
When... when had they had such a grown child?!
Noticing that Emma's emotions were somewhat out of control, Samuel quickly gripped her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
