"Derei!" Amanda wanted to go with her, but Jesslyn Derei had already closed the door from outside.
Amanda felt somewhat embarrassed, pondering how to greet the people in the Private Room, and when she turned around, she saw Lucas Griffin.
The smile on her face instantly froze, and she realized that she had been duped.
Damn it! Jesslyn Derei betrayed her again!
Amanda, angry, turned to leave, but Lucas Griffin quickly walked forward and pulled her back.
"Amanda."
"Let go of me." Amanda shook off his hand.
Lucas Griffin, however, embraced her from behind and said softly, "Are you still angry about yesterday? I know it was my fault."
Amanda bit her lip and said nothing.
"I visited your father today and have already set our wedding date, the 2nd of next month."
"You have such little trust in me," Amanda turned around, angrily looking at him, "why would I still marry you?"
