The persistent ring of the doorbell left Amanda Jenkins' mind in chaos, and she anxiously said to Howard Cumming, "I can't explain it to you right now, just stop asking."
About to open the door, she suddenly stopped and turned to Howard, "Where are your clothes?"
"In the bathroom."
"Then hurry up and put them on!"
"I'm hot, I don't want to wear them."
Amanda was about to lose her mind.
She pushed Howard into the bathroom, "Put on your clothes, and remember what I just told you!"
Having given her instructions, she hurried to the door, took a deep breath, and opened it.
Outside stood Lucas Griffin, his face an icy mask, his eyes seemingly frosted over.
Amanda asked in confusion, "What are you doing here?"
"Can I not come?" His tone was displeased.
"Then how did you know I live here?"
At this moment, Amanda was utterly bewildered.
She didn't understand why Lucas had suddenly come here, and moreover, he seemed very angry.
