"It's me, Emma Bollock." Emma's tone was calm, "Come out and meet me, I'd like to talk with you."
Amanda hesitated, glancing at Kent, who was putting on his shoes to go out with her for grocery shopping.
Seeing that Amanda did not respond, Emma added, "It won't take long, just half an hour to have a coffee."
"Sorry, I don't have time today," Amanda refused. They weren't familiar enough to sit down and have coffee together.
Moreover, the weekend was coming, and she was going to spend it with Lucas Griffin. Before that, she had some things to arrange.
Even though it was just half an hour, she preferred to spend that time with her son rather than on Emma.
"What if I want to talk to you about Lucas Griffin?"
Amanda laughed lightly, "Then there's even less to talk about."
She had experienced Emma's aggressiveness and rudeness.
