Amanda Jenkins rented a small one-bedroom apartment.
Although it was a bit far from the downtown area, there was a kindergarten, a hospital nearby, and the transportation was fairly convenient. Most importantly, the rent wasn't that expensive.
Kent joyfully ran around the room, "Great, from now on I'll live here with Amanda Jenkins."
"It's a bit small here, do you still like it?"
Amanda always felt that she had let Kent down.
She could have let Kent live in a large mansion like Griffin's Family and be served by many servants.
But she selfishly kept her son by her side, accompanying her through a life of modest means.
"Of course, I like it—as long as I'm living with Amanda Jenkins, I like anywhere."
Amanda started to tidy up the room, and Kent helped by gracefully passing things to her.
"Amanda, is there a swing nearby?"
"There isn't one around here," Amanda thought for a moment, "but there is a place with a very beautiful swing. I'll take you there to play tomorrow."
