Over the phone, Kent proudly said, "Does my mom Amanda Jenkins's design even need me to worry? It's definitely the best!"
"You flatter me, kiddo," Amanda chuckled. "Have you been obedient and listening to Grandma Sheppard these past few days?"
"Of course! But let's not change the subject, Amanda. How are things going with Uncle Lucas?"
"..." Amanda was embarrassed, "Look here, Kent, you've got quite the forgetful memory for someone so young. You asked me this just yesterday, and I already answered you then."
"But that was yesterday, and today is today. Things change every day, right?"
