Lucas Griffin walked down the stairs, frowning at Amanda Jenkins, who was sleeping on the couch.
In her deep sleep, she had finally calmed down, except for the slightly furrowed brow at her delicate forehead.
"Sigh..."
Lucas let out a soft sigh and moved forward to gently pick her up.
Amanda was sleeping so soundly she didn't realize she was being carried upstairs by Lucas.
Not until he carefully placed her on the soft, large bed.
She suddenly awoke, her eyes snapping open to see Lucas, which scared her into shrinking back.
"What are you doing?" he furrowed his brow and his large hand pressed down on her slender shoulders, "Am I that frightening?"
Amanda shook her head, then immediately nodded, "Yes, like a lingering spirit!"
"Amanda Jenkins, you..."
"What?" she lifted her chin defiantly.
