Kent looked at his own reflection in the mirror, his expression a mixture of tears and laughter, quite comical, "Amanda Jenkins, are you... are you sure I should go to the city to meet Uncle Lucas looking like this?"
His lips were painted a bright red by Amanda Jenkins, and a beauty mark was dotted on his delicate brow with lipstick.
"You look very handsome," Amanda Jenkins assured her son, gazing into the mirror. "Don't you guys wear makeup like this for performances at kindergarten?"
"I'm not going to a performance today!" Kent protested, dissatisfied, "It's hideous!"
"It seems like something's still missing, don't move," she instructed.
Amanda Jenkins took out the lipstick again and dabbed it twice on Kent's cheeks. Then she used the palm of her hand to gently blend it, creating two rosy blushes.
