Amanda Jenkins was just about to explain what happened at noon to Kent when he spoke first, "Amanda Jenkins, I want to meet him!"
"Huh?" Amanda's hand stiffened as she held the phone.
With a serious tone, Kent said, "I want to meet your boyfriend!"
"My boyfriend?"
"Yes, the one called Lucas."
"..." Amanda felt embarrassed, "He's not my boyfriend."
"He said he is."
"He's not!"
"Even if he's not your boyfriend, he's at least pursuing you. Anyway, I want to meet him." Kent sounded quite upset on the other line, "He might be my dad in the future, and I have to make sure he's okay. What if you get tricked by a bad guy? You're so silly, and I'm really worried about you!"
Amanda was both amused and frustrated.
