Kent plunged heavily into her embrace, rubbing against her with glee, "Amanda Jenkins, you finally came to see me."
Amanda knelt down and ruffled Kent's hair, "I saw everything just now. Didn't you promise Mom that you'd get along well with the other kids?"
"But they were bullying Elaine!"
"Elaine?" Amanda turned slightly, looking towards the little girl standing in the distance, who was still quietly sobbing.
During her previous visits to Nimbus Town, she had seen the group of four children, but this was her first time seeing this girl called Elaine.
"Elaine's parents passed away; she was sent to live with her grandmother. She's so pitiful, with hardly any friends," Kent explained, "But now she's mine, so I have to protect her!"

Amanda couldn't help but laugh, "What do you mean she's 'yours'? Do you even know what that means?"
"I know!" Kent lifted his chin proudly, "She's the woman I'm going to court, so of course, she's my woman!"
