Ellen Young and Ruffy Smith sat in a cable car.
The experience was novel for Ellen; she knew Ruffy's shooting skills were extraordinary when he managed to stay till the end, especially since he had eliminated Lucy Wood under conditions that affected her judgment. Had he aimed at Ellen at that time, she would have had no chance of escape.
She was curious about one thing, "Have you played these before?"
"I enjoyed practicing shooting when I was abroad, I'm quite accurate," he replied casually, without boasting. However, Ellen sensed his marksmanship was more than just 'quite accurate'.
It was her first time seeing a different side of Ruffy; he never seemed to take anything seriously in her presence, yet he was quite talented in certain aspects, just waiting to be uncovered.
They took their seats in the cable car, and this time, all participants in the competition were previous first-place winners, so everyone was remarkably skilled. There would be no novices like Lucy Wood.
