After taking a bath, Dan cooked rice and a noddles with two boiled eggs for breakfast, after preparing everything Dan sat down at the kitchen's table. Dan's breakfast is composed of a rice, noddles with two boiled eggs, and the leftover fried chicken that he had cooked last night. Although, Dan's food is not that luxurious it was still alluring to Dan's eyes. Dan's mom used to tell him that you should enjoy the little things that you have so that you may not feel a little bit ounce of regret in your heart once its gone. Dan's parents died due to car accident, leaving him alone since the age of fifteen, Dan is still living financially well because of his parents money that he received, the money was enough for Dan to live without worrying for food for atleast seven more years, of course the tuition for his university was excluded in his computation. While eating Dan turned on the tv, the news was all about a virus spreading in the country, but Dan did not care anything about that at all. he switched the channel and wolf down all his food on the table.
After eating and drinking water, Dan packed all his books inside his bag and finally went to school, Dan walked for twenty five minutes and finally he saw the gate of the school, the gate was shaped rectangularly, and had a color of a deep-blueish color, symbolising the cleanliness of the whole school, pointy-object could be seen directly above the gate. Dan greets the guard, the guard nod and asked for his ID, He showed his ID and finally went inside. Students could be seen everywhere inside the school campus, students going to their assigned classroom, teachers handling their students. After taking the path that leads to his classroom Dan finally arrived at the doorstep to his classroom. Students could be seen laughing, talking to each other, showing the liveliness of the morning, where the sun still starts to rise up. Dan was about to enter the classroom when somebody called his name.
"Hey Dan" Dan looked to where the sound came from, and in his eyes he saw Sill, Sill was a boy with a chubby body and a cute chubby face, he looked normal, but because of his chubby face many girls are close to him, causing envy to many male students in the campus.
"What's wrong with your eyes? that's a big eye suck". Sill asked curiosly. Sill has been Dan's friend since elementary days, they've been friends for a very long time.
'Nothing just had nightmare last night', Dan said while waving his hand indicating that it was nothing serious. Although Dan and Sill has been friends for a very long time, Dan couldn't just tell Sill what was his dream last night, it was him and Anna kissing after all. Anna was Sill's crush, no, Anna was everyone's crush, Anna was beautiful just like in Dan's dream, she was the ideal girl for every boy in school, and just like in Dan's dream Anna was also his classmate. After going inside the classroom and finding their own assigned seats they both sat down. Fate was with them because they sat beside each other, at the back at that.
The sun finally rose up into the sky illuminating the lively students in the classroom. Murmurs could be heard inside, some students were talking about their favorite video games, while others discussing about the lessons that their teachers discussed yesterday, It was a beautiful scenery.
Clap, Clap, Clap. A loud three clapping sound echoed throughout the room, gaining the attentions of everyone, including Dan and Sill.
"Okay everyone settle down and take a seat". A man wearing a formal attire went inside the classroom and said. "By the way goodmorning everyone". In unison all the students sat up and said "good morning teacher". The teacher's name was Mr. Rod, Rod's skin color was slightly brownish, he had a curly hair, with a serious face, but there is one thing about him that made everyone respect him, it was his way of teaching.
'Anyone who can tell me what we discussed last meeting?'. Rod said, with a serious face. Rod wanders his gaze around the room and only saw one person raising a hand, a girl with a elegant face, white haired, skin white as snow, eyes so deep that it's said that it could bewitched anyone if one looked just for a moment. The girl's name was Anna.
'Okay Anna, stand up and tell us what we discussed last meeting'. Rod said while his hands on the back. Anna stood up confidently, and looked directly into everyone's eyes. It was like an angel that was about to give sermon to every sinful being living under the same sky, they were enchanted by her beauty, her eyes made everyone sit-up straight. If one would describe Anna's elegance then it would be heavenly.
'Last meeting ,,,,,,,' Anna recalled to everyone on what Mr. Rod had discussed last meeting, her words were so powerful that it hits the spot to everyone's head, every students remembered their previous lesson even if they don't want to. After Anna was done speaking, a loud of applause was heard throughout the classroom.
"Dan why won't you compete with her, i think your as good as her or probably better". Sill whispered to Dan's ears with a serious face.
"Nahh, i ain't interested in any of that" Dan said with a joking tone.
"You're wasting your talent" Sill sighed while shaking his head. Sill knew his friend Dan was also a genius, but the problem with Dan was that he doesn't care at all, he just want to graduate, get a job and then enjoy life without doing much anything, in other words his lazy.
"Anyone who can tell me what's philosophy?"
The teacher with a serious face said. Rod again looked to everyone but only saw one person raising a hand. It was Anna.
"I want to see another hand", "Anyone?"
"Okay since no one's raising a hand, i'll be the one to choose" with every word that the teacher's said, it made every students nervous. The teachers gaze wander around the classroom, everytime the teacher's eyes made contact with someone it made them shiver. all the students eyes looked to the ground, all their uniforms are already drenched in sweat due to their rapidly sweating.
Rod's eyes roam around the room, then it stopped to the boy at the back with a chubby face, Sill. When Sill's eyes met the gaze of the teacher, Sill's heart's stopped beating for a second, it was like the end of the world for him.
"Okay, you with a chubby face at the back" Rod said while his index finger point at Sill.
"Tell me something about philosophy". Rod said with a serious tone. Sill couldn't believe it, why does it just to be him when there's a lot of students inside the classroom. Sill slowly stood up and scratch the back of his head. Sill looked to Dan, and there he saw Dan covering his mouth trying his best not to laugh.
"Pfft, hahahhaha". Dan laugh with a low voice while covering his mouth, trying his best not to laugh loudly.
