Chapter 78 - Yuki's bizarre adventures.

The restaurant buzzed with life, filled with all kinds of people. Parents strolled with their children, elderly individuals with hunched backs shuffled along, and a serene breeze passed unnoticed.

Amid the commotion, a pair of samurai, their swords hanging at their waists, vanished into thin air without a trace.

On an empty road, Hinata and Yuki walked together, heading home.

"How was the food?" she asked casually, glancing at the boy.

"It was okay," Yuki replied offhandedly. The meal was not as great as what he was used to eating every day.

His turbulent emotions had settled significantly, leaving a single thought in his mind. 'I'm not strong enough. I need to train more.'

Earlier, his confrontation with Itachi had only reinforced his resolve. The clash between them had given him valuable insights.

'It was like I was just a bystander, Layers upon layers of genjutsu. Her footsteps were rhythmic, the clang of her sword felt like an amplifier, and her voice carried a subtle spike in chakra. The more she walked and spoke, the harder—and eventually impossible—it became to break free from the genjutsu.'

His heart raced, pumping blood to his brain, filling him with a rush of excitement.

Yuki had studied her techniques and learned a lot from observing her. But despite his knowledge, he was still incapable of replicating them himself.

'Even if no one looked into her eyes or was deaf, the vibrations carrying Yin chakra directly interfered with their brain and chakra pathways,' Yuki thought, summarizing and analyzing. His excitement flared. 'I want to do that too. That's so cool.'

His determination to reach home intensified. The trip had served its purpose—he had seen enough from people's heads exploding, to rocks and trees flattening under immense chakra pressure, to witnessing an epic fight as a mere observer.

As if sensing his emotions, Hinata stopped. She turned around and fixed her gaze on Yuki.

"It's time for you to go home," she said.

An unseen wind ruffled the sleeves of her clothes, lifting her hair to reveal both of her eyes. Without warning, her palm pressed on Yuki's chest and with force enough to rip apart anything she pushed her palm

Crack!

Something broke!

The air behind Yuki tore apart. His figure began to distort, and like a shattered mirror, his body shattered and vanished.

Huh!?

For a split second, Yuki couldn't comprehend what had just happened. The colors around him began to blend together. He looked down, horrified, at the infinite sequences of his own reflection. One by one, his reflections shattered, swept away like waves.

His mind buzzed as he became an infinite reflection in every direction. He looked down at where Hinata's palm had rested on his chest. A crack spread across his body, and in an instant, he broke apart.

He felt another force pulling him, dragging him away. He blinked and found himself staring at empty air.

Thump!

The sound of a sliding chair echoed as it came to a halt. Yuki was sitting in his room, on the chair, staring at the empty air in front of him, watching it slowly repair itself.

His body trembled. The overwhelming, majestic place he'd just experienced left his mind in a state of numbness.

Huff! Huff!

"So scary! What was that place?" Yuki gasped, calming his trembling fingers as he tightly gripped the chair.

Yuki's bizarre adventures came to a halt.

.

Far away from Konoha, Hinata's hair gently cascaded down, covering her right eye.

Crack!

As she took her first step, another crack appeared in her eye, securing a place in countless cracks. The pupil of her right eye was made of endless cracks as if a mirror had been shattered again and again.

The more she used it, the more cracked it became. And the more cracked it became, the more attuned she became to it.

The series of actions she had performed were dangerous. If she had miscalculated a single coordinate, the boy would have been torn apart and lost forever.

Not every dimension was easy to enter or exit.

If someone wants to enter the mirror dimension and navigate through it, they have to have an exponential understanding of mathematics and geometry.

'In simple terms, the Mirror Dimension completely overlaps with the real world, and it's constantly changing. If someone falls behind or miscalculates, they would simply die, no matter how strong they are.' There was no smile on her face.

'To put it simply, it's not for the dumb people, nor is it for those who are intelligent but physically and chakra-wise weak.'

She walked toward a park, and the monochromatic world of black and white began to regain its color. It was a minor disadvantage of her eye.

As for the major downside, it constantly eating a humongous chunk of her chakra.

But despite that, her reserves were always full, to the point of overflowing.

'A balance for someone like me,' she chuckled, finding a seat on a nearby bench.

Her thoughts drifted toward her home. 'I have to find a permanent cure for Kimimaro. His condition is getting worse. he is only a few months of guest in this world if this continues.'

'If I can't find the cure in time, I'll have to freeze him with the help of Haku and seals.'

She had already exhausted all of her medical expertise just to keep the boy from dying prematurely.

The stronger he grew, the more his illness worsened. It was as if a curse had to balance things out; without it, he would have become too powerful.

And now that he was too strong from a young age, his illness had caught up to him at a young age too.

'I have to forcefully rip the illness out of his bones,' she thought, her gaze fixed on the sun.

'What should I do? I have to think outside of medical ninjutsu, outside the box, outside the world.' Her neurons churned.

'World…the sun...' Her eyes began to outshine the brilliance of the sun.

'Hehe… that might work,' she thought, beginning to scan the area.

The people in the park started to feel their scalps growing numb.
