"This is beautiful," Haku commented while stroking the head of the little rabbit.
"Hmmm..." I hummed. We were currently looking at Konoha from a hilltop; its nighttime beauty was illuminated by the moon hanging over our heads.
Ninety-nine percent of the people were sleeping at this late hour; only the patrol ninjas were doing their jobs.
"Close their Tenketsu points," I ordered Ren. Upon receiving my orders, he did his job, and in just a few minutes, we were all ready to breach the sensory barrier of the village.
The chakra signature was registered after people started their missions, so I was not worried about someone finding Haku and Kimimaro.
From tomorrow, they will be proud members of the Hyuga clan.
.
"Let's go."
All of us moved towards the clan, avoiding the ninjas on duty.
And in just half an hour, I stood at the high wall of the clan. One side of me was the clan, and the other side was the village.
"From now on, this will be your new home," I said to both boys and indicated for them to follow me.
.
"Ren, inform my father that I have arrived, and Ritsu, you go and call the elders," I gave them the order as soon as I reached the meeting room.
I just wanted to wrap things up with Haku and Kimimaro as quickly as possible. The two guards who were guarding the meeting room bowed in respect and opened the gate, nodding to them.
.
I leisurely walked into the room and sat down on the chair that was exactly opposite the clan head's seat. Both of them were clearly nervous about what was about to happen.
"Don't worry about anything, just do as they ask. Remember, you are going to see them on a daily basis, so consider them as your uncles and grandpas," I said with a slight laugh.
I then looked at the little rabbit, "Come here, little bunny," and it shrank upon hearing my voice. With shaky legs, it jumped into my arms.
'That's good, that you know what is good for you.'
.
I then started to caress its soft fur tenderly. In just one minute, I heard a cheerful and loud voice, "My princess, you are finally here! Do you know how much your daddy missed you?" My dear father then started to show his overprotective tendencies.
.
"How much do you miss me, Dad?" I asked with a sweet smile.
"Very much," he started to ruffle my hair.
"How very much?" I asked with a laugh.
"Very, very much," he said.
"You seem very happy, Dad. Did something happen when I was away?" I curiously raised my eyebrows.
A mysterious smile graced his lips. "It's a surprise."
.
"Surprise? What surprise? Tell me, Dad," I squinted my eyes at him.
"It won't be a surprise if I told you," he said.
"Hmph… If you don't want to tell me, don't tell me," I pouted and looked away from him.
"Don't be like this, Princess," he said sweetly, trying to coax me with his words.
.
But then the door of the room opened, and the elders started to enter one by one, taking their respective seats. Every one of them was crucial to the clan, holding it politically and financially stable. Even though they no longer trained, they were the pillars of the clan.
.
"Little girl, you are finally here. The clan was getting boring," the eldest elder, whose name was Kazuya, spoke.
"Really, Gramps?" I asked, looking at them.
"Hmm…" all of them nodded.
They shifted their gaze from me to Haku and Kimimaro, their Byakugan activated. The pressure in the room suddenly intensified.
"So these are the brats you are talking about?" one of them asked.
"That's them, and stop scaring them," I said. The room regained its previous state, and Haku and Kimimaro released the breath they were holding.
.
"Haku-chan, come and show what you got." Hearing my words, he came forward. Raising his hand, a blob of water appeared, and it started to freeze instantly, showcasing his rare kekkei genkai.
I raised my hand, and he retreated back. I then looked at Kimimaro and gestured to him.
He came forward, raised his palm towards the elders, his skin ripped apart, blood dripped, and a white bone emerged, tearing through his flesh. It was gruesome but mesmerizing at the same time.
I nodded to him, and his bone retracted into his hand, leaving his palm as new as before as if nothing had happened.
'I will soon start experimenting on him,' I nodded to myself.
.
Looking at the elders, I asked with a smirk, "So, what do you think?"
"Amazing…" one of them blurted out. Now that two of them had showcased their kekkei genkai, all the members present in the room understood what that meant. They had the potential to be the strongest if nurtured perfectly, and the power of the clan would increase tremendously.
With Hinata, Neji, and the two boys, their clan now possessed four monsters who were no doubt on the path to reaching the S Rank or beyond that, given their current progress.
Additionally, their clan was filthy rich, so they wouldn't hesitate to invest in the future pillars of the clan. In just 10 years, no one would be able to compete with them.
.
"Good, very good…"
I could see various types of glints passing through their eyes.
"Calm down, everyone. Your greed is dripping," I chuckled.
They quickly snapped out of their thoughts. As for how I convinced them about my trip, that's a story for another time.
.
"What did the Hokage tell you about Ranmaru?" I asked.
"Just as you predicted, he blamed Kumo," one of the elders chuckled and I nodded with a smile.
"How much pressure can our clan put on the Hokage?" I asked.
"It depends on what we want from him," my father said.
"That's good. When the academy ends, I want these two in my team," I told my thoughts.
"Okay…" my father nodded.
.
Then we began to discuss other important matters concerning the clan and various topics. Soon, another hour passed, and it was 5 in the morning. The members of the clan started to wake up.
After the meeting was concluded, the two boys and my father were the only ones left in the room.
.
"Your mother was worried about you. Why don't you go and talk to her?" he asked.
"Hmph… I don't want to. She is not my mother; she hit me, Father," I said angrily.
"You are still angry at her…" he asked.
"No… I'm not…" I said, but my expression said otherwise.
'Well, actually, I was not angry. Why should I be angry at my own plan?'
.
"Don't behave like that. Just talk to her, just once, for me. Will you do it, my princess?" he asked sweetly.
I remained silent for a moment, then I nodded. "I will talk to her, just because you are asking," I said and walked away from the room, and the two of them followed me like ducklings.
.
"You two must be hungry and sleepy after all this travel. Rest for a few days, and then we will start your real training," I told them and ordered Ren to lead them to their new house.
.
After all of this was done, it was time to meet my dear brother.
"BIG BROTHER, WHERE ARE YOU?" I yelled at the top of my lungs, waking up everyone.
"BIG BROTHER!"
"BIG BROTHER!"
"BIG BROTHER!"
I continued yelling until the door of his room opened, and he rushed out.
"Little sister!" he exclaimed happily and ran towards me with a jubilant expression.
But then he suddenly stopped, and a look of betrayal appeared on his face. "You didn't take me with you. You left me alone here," he started to complain.
I patiently listened to his continuous rambling about how unfair I was.
"You're not the same sister I remember," he said, tilting his head away from me.
.
"Is Big Brother angry with me?" I said sweetly and hugged him.
"Yes, I am," he said, but I could feel the change in his voice and body language. He was just pretending to be angry.
'How could you be angry with your little sister?'
I patted his back and whispered, "I am sorry."
"Will you forgive me?" I quietly asked with a sorry expression.
And this melted his heart. "You have to take me with you next time," he grumbled, but the smile that started to appear on his face did not lie.
And seeing my brother happy, my eyes also lit up. "You are the best big brother."
