Beginning | Where is here?
The sun's veil reigned over the land. Its light shone over the lofty mountains.
Giants that pierced the clouds from the earth. A large stream of water fell from the large crevice within the mountain. A waterfall fell, its clear waters forming a lake that encircled the large mountain.
"It's nice." I thought.
"It's peaceful and, well, calm."
I looked over the edge.
"It's high, too."
"I've been exploring this land for a few days now. I should interact with It's people."
I pushed myself up, my legs wobbly.
"Ah." My legs, having turned numb, tumbled forward.
The loud splashing of water drowned my shout.
***
It took me quite a bit of effort to drag myself out of the river.
"I'm hungry..."
My mind started to wonder if I could find a few fruits or nuts in the area... but I decided not to bother.
It was only a slight feeling of hunger.
Besides, my excitement to see human settlements had me a bit... Uh, what's the word? Eager?
***
My hand held on to the jagged stone with all of its strength as my entire weight rested on its grip.
I found myself climbing another mountain soon enough.
I dug my hand into whatever pocket I could find within the rocks and pulled myself up.
Looking down to see how far I had climbed was something I was very tempted to do many-
Damn it, I looked down...
Anyway, I regret climbing the mountain directly instead of simply taking the paved route.
But our choices are what defines us.
I'm sorry, I'm just spouting nonsense right now.
Oh, and in case you're wondering. No, this isn't the same mountain I was on before.
This is a much taller and far more terrifying colossus.
***
I arrived...
To nothing.
The mountain peak I climbed to is very narrow. There is nothing here nor could there have been any space for a settlement to be built.
I did all of that for nothing.
Nothing...
"######"
I spoke a word of which I held no understanding to.
