Ella walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. She was pissed, pissed at Belle for her words.
Why couldn't she marry Blue? Why wouldn't they let them get married? What was wrong with marrying a girl when they were in love? Why does everyone have so much to say about it?
Her phone buzzed, Lee's name appearing on the screen, this asshole….
"What do you want?" Ella's first words after taking the call
"Can't your loveliest one and only elder brother call you? We haven't spoken in a long while, don't you miss me?" Lee's voice drawled through the speaker, that infuriating smug tune that always annoyed Ella
"I'll be home in a week or two" Ella spoke, tone dry
"I know that, I still want to hear your voice, I've missed you kid" he spoke
Ella rolled her eyes "don't you think I should know better, if you have nothing to say, I'd like to end the call, I've got things to do"
