The next morning as I woke up from the nightmare last night, I found myself in the hospital room again in my own clothes this time. The same red denim shirt and cotton pants. My ring with a ruby embedded was still on my hand. As I looked past the window, I noticed the amount of damage the incident last night had caused. But I couldn't make anything of it since all that went through my mind was the dying face of poppy. I still had the little badge poppy passed on which had blood smeared on it. Just looking at it, made me feel responsible but I got ready and went out of the hospital. As beautiful as the land was, the broken buildings created a sense of dread and loss among the people who lived there and me. I found my way somehow back to the building where the missiles had hit had mysteriously built back by itself.
I entered the building and found my way to the hall room even though the building itself was like a maze on the inside I didn't understand the physics of it so I didn't stress my mind too much on it. The hole on the roof from last night was also mended. I saw Jax and Zach sitting in their respective seats while I saw something move past by. Something fast moved and when it stopped, I saw a gryphon that flew in from the sky. It had the golden mane of a lion gleaming like the sun with a beak sharp enough to tear me up. It had talons that seemed golden in color but instantly changed to silver and then to bronze like it were fluctuating. Then the one thing that caught my eye more than anything else were its wings. Wings giant than its own body hauling its itself to the ground and when it landed, it instantly transformed into a human. He wore a white tunic with blue pants which seemed like an odd combo. But I wasn't much better. He was talking about something with Jax and Zach when I entered and when he saw me, he seemed to be analyzing me and then went back to his conversation, while I waited for some time so I didn't interrupt. Then after they finished, I went ahead as the guy said "you... must be Drago. Quite the scuffle last night eh. Well, it doesn't matter no more cause you will be coming with me. We have very limited time." As he dragged me from the room with Jax and Zach looking at me and snickering. He pulled me outside and began the introduction part which was pretty big so let me sum it up. His name was apparently 'dynatá fterá' but that most people called him Dyna. Apparently, he was gonna get me ready for something and train me for a day or 2 and send me of to die. Simple and clean as he turned back into a gryphon and carried me past the mountains and the town to a battlefield with tents set up. As we landed, I saw a board with something written. As I squinted my eyes, I saw that it read 'rocky torren'. I saw people dressed in normal clothes as well as ancient army dresses of different kinds. Most of them had different kinds of weapons in their hands, some held axes and some held swords whereas some held bows. Each of them seemed ... unique to say. The entire place was like a barrack situated on a war field awaiting war. Dyna turned back to his human form and said "first things first lemme clear things up for you. You see you know about the whole incarnate schtick right about us channeling the power of the gods. Let me clarify it for you. We fight again the chao gods and their own incarnates. Beings symbolizing chaos, death and the rest as you know they try to conquer the world and whatnot. And this land is actually a safe haven for the creati incarnates. We keep a watch on the chao gods and the major difference between us and them is that we channel 20% of the god's power whereas they channel just 5% but they outnumber us by a lot. We travel from dimortalis to the mortal world from time to time to recover priceless artifacts or sometimes incarnates who don't realize the mess they've gotten themselves into." The information was a lot to take in but he explained it as best as he could "you as I heard from Wilbert are apparently an incarnate of the goddess Creshiel huh. Well fate gods don't really amount to much in combat but they have enough magic to well, turn fate. It's a dangerous power so we don't see a lot of you guys around, plus Creshiel is from a long-lost order of gods. So, we'll prep you up to the best of our capabilities and you can do whatever you want."
As he said that I could feel the different threads around me. I could see threads attached from everyone around me but I tried to concentrate on what Dyna was saying. "We will try our best to help you but instead you can try helping us by going on missions cause seriously having someone who can alter the strands of fate is something else."
I was weighing the pros and cons of being here, if I stayed I'd get some new experiences, a sense of thrill and adventure that seemed to lack from my life so maybe staying here was for my own good and so I said "do I get free food?"
