"I don't know how to explain this to you but you can't leave," Alastor said with a straight face. "This is going to be your new home. If you have anything that you want, it will be brought to you."
She scoffed at his words, "You cannot keep me here as a prisoner forever."
"It's for your own good. Why are you so stubborn about this? I'm trying to keep you safe."
"From what?! Because from where I'm sitting this is all your doing. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that you or was it someone else changed from a bird to a man. That was very disgusting to watch. And very disturbing to say the least."
"I don't know what to say about that but I think you were seeing things. You must have hit your head too hard while I was carrying you from the car to the bed."
If he was not going to wipe her mind clean from what she had seen then he would confuse her so she would believe that what she had seen was not true.
