He sighed after watching her go and looked at the box to find it glowing.
"What the hell is happening?" he muttered to himself before it dawned on him that she was the key and he had failed on his second attempt to get her to open the box.
Slapping his face out of frustration, he watched the light get dim before disappearing in his hands.
This was when he knew that the box glowed only when she would come in contact with him while holding the item.
He ran outside to look for her only to notice that she was not available anymore.
"Sir, is anything the matter?" Tim asked in worry.
"Wait here," the man said, running towards Janet's apartment.
He reached her apartment and knocked on her door with no one opening it.
"Janet, I know you're in there," he sighed. "Just open the door and let's talk."
No one said anything as he waited for a few minutes only to find out he was wasting his time.
