The butler ate his meals from an expensive restaurant while watching people come in and leave. It was an expensive restaurant where only the elite could come and afford the meals.
He cracked the lamb chops with his fork which he put in his mouth to chew.
He was enjoying his meal before his phone buzzed. A smile spread across his face as he knew who was calling.
He looked at the phone before picking it up and with a chirpy voice started his signature words.
"Must be Christmas morning…"
"We can't do it," the voice on the phone cut him off, getting him by surprise.
"Excuse me?" he asked. "Did you just say you can't do it?"
"Yeah. We just can't. You sent us in there to fight the avengers and the justice league. Why the heck is wrong with you? We had the hulk, the flash and superheroes beating our asses in there. What kind of sick joke is this?"
