Janet cooked that morning with her mind still on the stories the demon had told her. She could not get her mind off the fact that she was somehow descended from a demon bloodline.
However her mind went to the fact that her father had been a very bad person who had destroyed the demon realm with his presence alone.
She also found something strange. The timeline was not clear. Did it mean that she was as old as the demon's prison time?
That would make her thousands of years old.
With a sigh, she placed a pot over the fire and began thinking of how she was going to tell her mother. Was her mother even her real mother or was she the demon from the realm?
These questions battered her around before a loud sound pierced the light her ears bringing her back to reality.
