The clock struck seven past ten, and Zarina began to gather her belongings into her bag. Earlier, Abby had told her that they would go dine in a hotpot and have a little chit-chat together.
"Zarina, girl, I'm sorry, but my night out later will be postponed. I have an emergency that I really can't ignore," Abby said, pouting her lips and twirling the ends of her hair.
Zarina smiled and heaved a deep sigh. She wasn't sad that they wouldn't be going to the hotpot and drinking soju. Earlier, she had been worried about how to decline, as she couldn't risk her baby by drinking soju.
"It's fine, Abby," Zarina smiled genuinely. Abby was so cute in her own way that Zarina couldn't say no to her. Who could resist her cute little face anyway?
"Are you sure?" Abby felt really disappointed, on the verge of tears because she had organized the supposed welcome back party for Zarina but now couldn't attend.
