Draymond imagined Zarina's cute, angry face over the phone. Whenever she got annoyed, she would purse her lips and furrowed her brows, making her look like a cute, angry raccoon.
"Do you miss Grandma?" Draymond asked.
"Yes, very much," Zarina replied.
"I'll bring her to the house when you behave," Draymond teased.
Zarina's face suddenly lit up. "Okay, I'm tired now. I'll rest. Bye," she said.
Zarina handed the cell phone to Mr. Hans and left the laundry behind as she went up to her room.
As Zarina ascended the stairs, the elderly called out to her again, "Wait a moment, you haven't eaten yet. What would you like to eat?"
Zarina stopped in her tracks, pondering for a moment. "Um... I want some rocky road ice cream and unripe green mangoes," she said, her mouth watering as she spoke.
"But young miss, that's not healthy," Mr. Hans expressed his concern.
