"We will leave Liam, but it has to be when the whole school is busy with the tournament, there won't be much guards stationed around the main gate, we can sneak out then. It's not safe to use the forest, besides we aren't familiar with this place, we will definitely get lost in the forest."
He wiped his face with his hands. "Okay, I understand, once we're out of the park territory, we should be able to find a taxi or better still hitch a ride to the nearest train station so we can rest for the day and book our flight home." He said, i smiled softly at him and helped him pack.
After we packed our bags, we left the hostel to the university, we met Chester and Kia at the cafeteria and walked up to them. We sat down besides each other.
"Don't tell me you both had sex." Kia blurted out.
I choked on my lemonade while Liam choked on air. We both fist bumped into Kia's shoulder lightly as she laughed.
"Kia!!.. The hell? Of course not." Liam pouted cutely.
"We'd be signing our death certificate if we did Kia, do you guys wanna come over to the pool for a drink? There's something we'd like to discuss with you guys." I asked.
"Sure, wanna leave now?" Chester asked. "Sure."
We all left for the Alpha Quarters.
There was no one else around, it was just the four of us, so we all changed into our swim clothes and we just relaxed in the pool. Then Chester broke the silence.
"So….what's happening?" He asked.
"We are leaving here tomorrow, whilst the tournament is going on." I said casually.
Kia and Chester both shared a quick glance at each other and sighed heavily.
"Seems your minds have been made up already, how can we help?" Kia smiled.
"Yeah, we can help distract the guards while you both make a run for it. Don't worry, we'll be fine."
As if reading my mind, he smiled.
I knew how sad they both were cause I could read their minds but I decided to respect their privacy and not listen to their thoughts.
It was already night now, so we changed into our normal clothes and walked out of the house. Liam stared at me weirdly as I followed them to the car.
"Aren't you sleeping over?" He asked.
"I don't want to stay here, I'll sleep over at the hostel instead. It's more peaceful there than here, I also don't want to run into Asher."
"You can spend the night with us, like a slumber party but with just us friends since you're leaving tomorrow." Kia suggested.
"Hmm that's fine, I'm in." We all got in and headed to Chester's house.
It's our first time of spending the night together so we decided to drown ourselves in alcohol. Chester's father owns a wine cellar of almost 50 years and it had strong liquors, within two hours of being there, we were drunk already.
We danced around, played board games, watched a few movies, cried together, and gulped in some more alcohol, just when we were about to get some more alcohol, a loud bang sounded on the front door.
"Jeez…..who the hell bangs on someone's door like that? It better be the Alpha cause I'll kill somebody." Chester slurred. He stumbled all the way to the door and opened it, an angry looking Asher and a worried looking Anthon stared at us, my heart skipped.
"What do you guys want? You're interrupting our party." Kia asked irritatatedly.
"What does it look like we want Kia?" Anthon spat.
"Don't you think your tone is too sharp for someone who abandoned his mate to go screw his ex?" Kia fired back.
In an instant Anthon had her in a chokehold, which immediately put Chester in fight mode, so he sped ran to Anthon and tore his hand away from Kia. Then a fight broke out between them, but Anthon was stronger, so he landed a few punches on Chester's face.
Not wanting my friends attacked this way, I felt anger build up in me as I stared at the scene.
"What do you think you're doing?" I screamed.
"We're here for you both, so either you leave with us in one piece or you watch your friends get hurt protecting you." Asher threatened.
"You bastard! What do you even want from us? Why can't you leave us alone? You've done nothing but cause us pain, how dare you think you can walk in here and assault my friends just because you're the Alpha and Beta?" Liam shouted.
I saw Asher's eyes flash between amber color and black, indicating that his wolf is fighting for control so I chipped in.
"We will go with you, so just stop please." I pleaded.
Asher took slow and agonizing steps toward me and then picked me up on his arm, I subconsciously wrapped my hands around his neck and watched Anthon do same to Liam. Then we walked out of the house, soon we were all in the Alpha Quarters. Anthon also brought Liam to the Alpha Quaters which got me extremely worried and scared. Something was off. They placed us gently on the couch and stood in front of us with their hands crossed.
"So does anyone want to explain why you have your bags packed? Let's start from there." Asher asked.
"That is none of your business." I answered.
"Oh but it is, you're my mate."
"Oh so now I'm your mate? How nice of you to remind me of that really obvious fact." Tears stung my eyes.
"Stop being dramatic Ryo, you had another man shove his tongue in your mouth dammit, have you forgotten about that?"
"You had your member buried deep inside almost all the girls in campus, have you forgotten that? You've done nothing but abuse and assault me since I got here and you want to talk to me about cheating? I kissed my best friend who was suffering because we are too unfortunate to have mates that we didn't ask for, mates that don't care about us, what's so bad about that? Shouldn't you be grateful for the fact that even after all this mistreatment, we remained loyal to you guys? Do you think our heart is made of stone? You have absolutely no right to talk about a little kiss we shared in a way to comfort ourselves." Tears streamed out of my eyes.
"Leave us Anthon." Was all he said before he crashed his lips on mine.
