After Class.
My Maria was watching two boys playing bat and ball, as she sat on the bench.
She was reading a book, looks so focused in it.
Out of nowhere a ball was going to strike at her face, someone stopped in front of Maria face with a gloved hand.
Thus, the ball that was about to strike Maria's face entered his grasp.
"Are you okay?" inquired the boy.
'His name was, um, Shawn, as I seem to recall.'
Maria was still in disbelief, unable to comprehend what had happened.
She just simply stared at Shawn as he passed by.
"Hey play somewhere else there is girls sitting" said Shawn telling them to go somewhere else.
I don't understand why my heart is beating so fast.
(And that's how, he steal her heart with a heroic move)

Next day
The headmaster was going to visit the orphanage since the year was coming to end.
While everyone was adorning the dark tower that served as the orphanage, my Maria was still asleep and experiencing yet another nightmare.
"Why am I getting nightmare that I don't even remember"
She wakes up and discovers she's late once more.
If she doesn't hurry, she could end up getting struck with a metal rod this time.
She caught a glimpse of the nightmare when she was sprinting down the corridor.
It appears that the youngster (she doesn't know) was going to be shot by a man wearing a mask.
Maria abruptly turned to face him, will took the bullet to her arm, and she comes to her senses.
"The most crucial question is why I saved him, not who that man was or why he wanted to kill that youngster."

Upon arriving at the dinner table, Maria noticed that no one was present.
This was because everyone was busy decorating the orphanage, and had woken up early to have breakfast - except for Maria, who was late and therefore missed out on the meal.
As she turned around, she saw the boy who had previously been bullied approaching her with a piece of bread in his hands.
Although Maria was concerned that he may still hold a grudge against her for not intervening during his bullying, she was surprised when he offered her half of his bread.
'I wondered if he may be mentally ill or simply possessed a kinder nature than me, i would not have been as quick to help someone who had not previously helped me.'
Maria accepted the half piece of bread.
"Thanks"
"No need I always only eat half bread"
'So this must be why he appeared weak and frail.,'
She watched as he turned and ran through the hallway.
.
To my Maria:
"THE WORLD DIDN'T APOLOGIZE TO ME FOR TURNING ME INTO THE MONSTER THEN WHY I SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO THEM TO BECOMING A MONSTER"
