"Shinra Tensei!"
"Shinra Tensei! (Electromagnetic Force Push)"
"I have a technique called 'Hungry Ghost Path' that can absorb all Ninjutsu. So, you use a technique, and I'll absorb it to show you," declared the adult Sasuke confidently.
The young Sasuke pondered for a moment, then agreed, his hand shimmering with the power of thunder.
"Evil Shine - Extreme Electric Chidori."
"Hungry Ghost Path!"
However, the adult Sasuke's Rinnegan ability did not absorb the Extreme Electric Chidori quickly but did so at a very slow pace, and he seemed to have some indigestion.
"Well, it's slow, but it can absorb. It's just that it's practically useless in real combat," the young one critiqued.
"This isn't right."
The adult Sasuke began to doubt his life as he watched the efficiency of his Hungry Ghost Path absorption. He had never absorbed the Nine-Tails chakra through Naruto's belly this slowly before; something was definitely off with this guy's chakra!
"Amaterasu!"
The adult Sasuke used it on a tree on the ground, looking at the black flames, he said, "This is a flame that will never go out, it can only be sealed or extinguished with my eye technique."
"Evil Shine - Dream Unification."
The young Sasuke conjured a gorgeous purple short sword, its energy extremely solidified without a hint of elemental force spilling out, looking just like an ordinary thunder blade on the surface.
"Slash."
The purple thunder blade cut down simply, instantly extinguishing the black flames and splitting the tree below in two.
"This Amaterasu doesn't seem to burn that well either," the young Sasuke said with a smile.
The adult Sasuke was dumbfounded.
"This technique of mine is very powerful, you'd better be a little careful."
"Sure, as you wish."
"Chibaku Tensei!"
"Slash."
The young Sasuke casually cut again, and the Chibaku Tensei core was split in half, looking very simple, as if cutting through something ordinary.
"Wait, what exactly is this sword?"
The adult Sasuke asked with furrowed brows.
He had thought that the young Sasuke's Dream Unification was a sealing blade similar to Itachi's, just with a different form of sealing. It seemed to extinguish Amaterasu, but in reality, it was a seal, which he could accept.
But the fact that Dream Unification could directly split his Chibaku Tensei meant there was a big problem. It indicated that Dream Unification was not just a simple sealing blade but also possessed immense destructive power.
"Ah, this is my eye technique. This sword is quite powerful; there's basically nothing it can't cut through, at least I haven't encountered anything yet," Sasuke said, waving Dream Unification casually.
"A sword that can cut through anything?"
The adult Sasuke squinted his eyes.
It looked like an ordinary sword on the surface, but in reality, it was a weapon even stronger than the Totsuka Blade. Itachi's Totsuka Blade required activating Susano'o to use, and the sealing also took some time.
But Dream Unification was different; as soon as it slashed, it was instant, with no intermediate process, making no distinction between any objects.
"Is this a pure slash or some kind of sealing effect?" adult Sasuke pondered before asking.
"A slash."
"A pure slash?"
A twitch formed at the corner of adult Sasuke's mouth. Extinguishing Amaterasu with a mere slash seemed a bit far-fetched.
But before his surprise could settle, Boruto came running over with a laugh, waving his hand and saying, "Sasuke, it's almost noon. Let's go have lunch together!"
"Are you done with your training?"
Young Sasuke sensed something amiss. Naruto said he was going to train this guy, but Boruto didn't seem to have improved much from yesterday. If it were Hinata's training regimen, Boruto's chakra should have increased by at least twenty percent.
Something seemed off.
"Yeah, to be precise, I didn't really train because I was too tired from yesterday. Naruto told me to rest first and focus on intensive training in the afternoon."
As he spoke, Boruto's face took on a reminiscent expression as he continued, "Ah, right, Naruto seemed to be preparing something. He disappeared without explaining, so I'm not too clear on it."
"You're not supposed to know."
Young Sasuke replied simply.
As Naruto's old friend, Sasuke understood his style. That guy was incredibly fast and often did things on his own without telling anyone. Not telling Boruto probably meant he was up to something, but who knows what.
"Right, right! Naruto gave me quite a bit of money. Let me treat you guys to a meal. So, have you decided what you want to eat?" Boruto said cheerfully.
"Anything's fine," said young Sasuke.
"Anything's fine," said adult Sasuke.
Their responses were surprisingly in sync on this matter. After a short while, young Sasuke spoke as if he remembered something important, "Right, Ino gave me a tonic recipe. I need to prepare a meal for Karin, so I must reserve enough time. I hope her health improves soon..."
Adult Sasuke watched young Sasuke's tenderness and couldn't help but be lost in thought, feeling guilty that he couldn't prioritize Sakura or Sarada in the same way, even placing mission priorities higher.
I'm an incompetent husband and father. What a failure.
"The Ichiraku Ramen in the village seems delicious, and it's close to your house. Let's go eat together," Boruto invited proactively.
"That works. Eating early to reserve time for the tonic preparation is good. That way, when Karin asks if I've eaten, I can answer her. Otherwise, she'll blame me," young Sasuke nodded in agreement.
Adult Sasuke envied him deeply.
On the other side of the training field, Hinata watched the two Sasukes and Boruto leave from a distance and asked, "Is it okay to trick Sasuke like this?"
"Trick? I didn't plan to trick him," Naruto replied with a smile.
"What do you mean then?" Hinata was a bit confused.
"It's simple. To provide Boruto with the best learning environment, I plan to let him trick Sasuke once, then have Sasuke personally tutor him. This way, his learning efficiency will be at least twice as fast as your special training, maybe even more," Naruto said confidently.
"Are you a devil?"
"Why would you think that? Although there might be some minor conflicts in the middle, Sasuke will resolve his anger, Boruto will gain strength, and everyone will have a bright future. Isn't that an interesting thing?" Naruto countered.
"Yeah, right, right."
Hinata paused before replying, "Naruto-kun, did you know? There are people living on the moon, and they are quite dangerous."
