"Oh my goodness, Emily! So good to see your face, argh," she groaned as she tried to jump up.
Emily could only stare in shock. "Hey you should rest." She managed to say.
"I know you have a million questions to ask, Emily. And I'm ready to answer all!" Kira said with enthusiasm.
There was something in her eyes that made her seem friendly. Emily couldn't explain it. She didn't wish to understand it.
"Were you on your way to meet me that night? Why did you carelessly cross the road and get hit!" she muttered out.
"I'm sorry, I just really missed you." Kira replied with a sad face. She didn't like that Emily was suspicious of her.
Emily frowned. "Okay. But now you were telling the doctor you have no friends of family except for me. What's that supposed to mean for me?"
Kira stared down to the ground. "It's true. But it's because I don't actually have anywhere to go to." She said.
