Veda looked so vulnerable in the garden, surrounded by flowers and fairy lights, she wrapped her arms around herself. "What did you leave me?" Veda's voice is so fragile it shatters Marv's heart.
Marv approached her slowly. "I know I should have told you but you wouldn't have let me go alone" she tried to be as delicate as possible because Marv could see Veda about to fall apart. "And I know I should have given you that choice but we both know that you couldn't, not after I bared my heart to you, but I needed to go, to find…" Marv explained, but Veda cut her off.
