Marv leaned against the wall of the private lounge, watching Veda down another drink. A patch of guilt crawled up Marv's sides, the stress between is driving her to drink and that's a dark place Marv didn't want to dwell in. But she will stay, watch over Veda and make sure the librarian returns home safely with nothing to regret. A song began to play and Veda scream before stumbling to her feet, she climbed over the round table in the middle of the room and ran for the door.

"My song!" Veda shouted as she moved passed Marv and grabbed her arm.

"Easy there," Marv whispered as she pulled Veda close to her.

"What are you doing her?" Veda pulled away from Marv. "I just wanted to dance and forget, now I can't stop imagining you everywhere I go," she complained, pouting. "Leave me alone" Veda turned to leave when a woman walked up to Marv.
