Marv laid at the bottom of the pool for the rest of the night, trying to get her mind in the right place. She thought of leaving again; she didn't want to burden Veda with her presences but she couldn't run away, not again, she needed to talk to Veda. The rest of the night she spend staring at the shadows on the French door until sun appeared. So Marv packed her duffle bag and headed for the door, but when she stepped into the living room to find Daphne standing there.
Marv stared at her wide eyes. "Hey" she softly said, putting down her duffle bag.
"You can't leave" she said, playing with her fingers. "I know you are a good person, and this is a whole misunderstanding because soulmates don't do that to each other, you can't leave, not until you speak to Veda and everything will be good." Daphne rambled as Marv approached and lead her to the kitchen table.
"I was planning on talking to her before I leave," Marv said, but Daphne shook her head.
