Marv saw the guilt in Veda's eyes but she also remembered the silence she put on the poor vampire. The mortal didn't want to know; she didn't want to hear about Veda's soulmate; she tried in every way to move the subject away, to stall all conversations about it. Only to find out, she was pausing their relationship, deep down she was happy but deeper down she was scared, scared of what that meant.
"Veda" she whispered,
"Marv…I" Veda didn't know what to say.
"We are back!!!" Arini appeared at the other end of the training ground. "we have the most exciting news" she clapped her hands.
"Later," Marv said to Veda, but the vampire wasn't having it. "What did you find out?" She turned to Arini and Arjun.
"What's happening here?" asked Arjun, instantly recognizing the atmosphere around Veda. "Did we interrupt something?" He looked at Veda.
"Yes, Marv and I have a lot to discuss," Veda said, firmly looking at Marv.
