Veda sneaked into the guest bedroom, she had coffee and pastries in her hand, and Marv was sound asleep in the bed, curled into Veda's pillow. She smiled at the sight and decided to creep back into bed and hold Marv against her skin, she placed their fast breakfast on the side table and slid into the bed.
Veda pulled the pillow from under Marv's head. She reached out to grab the pillow again but grabbed Veda's waist instead.
Marv lifted her head to see Veda. "You are back, I hope it wasn't busy," she stretched as Veda handed her a pastry.
"Not really, the morning rush came in after me" Veda took a sip of her coffee. "I was talking to Arini and Arjun. We thought we would take a break from the ancestry discovery, maybe a day or two, just relax, enjoy the beach and weather," she said, hoping Marv wasn't disappointed.
