The group tracked through a deep oak forest; it looked enchanted. There was the hum of wild wildlife, birds sang oak trees with reaching, curling branches, little perfect mushrooms sprouted from deep grassy patches, and little fireflies floated through the air. Veda watches Marv in the place, envisioning a life with her here, in a small cottage house by a glittery crystal spring.
Marv turned to her. "Gosh, this place is gorgeous," she whispered to Veda who smiled. "Imagine living here," she said, which caught Veda off guard.
"Yeah, imagine," Veda said, as she grabbed Marv's hand.
"Ok," Arini clapped her hands. "This place is home to nymphs, the first of their kind, and it will determine if you are one," Arini said until she held her hand up. "Hold on, anything happening with the ring?" she asked Marv.
Marv released Veda's hand. "Nothing, but can I keep it? It is really pretty," she asked with a sweet smile.
