Chapter 34 - Leaving

Nandi and Marv travel down a dirt road, passing rolls of neatly organized fields of tea. Tea leaves were thrown into the baskets by farmers with white cloths on their heads and giant baskets strapped to their backs. they worked diligently and theirs arm looked strong, Marv could hear thr chattering between worker and sort of pleasant air of growth and profitability in the air.

Nandi raised her hand, waving to the different workers who saw her. They passed another residential area where women sat sorting dried lentils and beans. There was a humming chatter that scattered around this group of people, a social atmosphere that felt like the life blood of the clan, sharing stories, educating and with a tiny bit of well natured gossip.

"Nandi" is a woman, with dark eyes and deep russet skin. "we just got the dry beans, more arts and crafts"

"That's amazing. I am going up to school, so I will take them now," Nandi said as the woman scrambled to get the boxes.
