"What does that mean?" Veda looked between Arini and Arjun.
"She is a direct descendant of a god," Arini said as they all started at Marv.
"What the actual fuck is my life?" Marv said, looking at the group.
Arini stopped waving her hands frantically. "It is ok because that makes it much easier. We find the god, we break the curse," she said sheepishly.
"I thought there was only one goddess of the vampires, Selene. What do you mean to find the god?" Marv asked, crossing her arms and cocking her hip.
"There are many gods of the vampires, just depending on the region, and South Africa being such a diverse place, we need to trace it back, way back, but it is ok," Arini tried to reassure Marv.
Marv looked disoriented, and she began to rub her arms. "This is too much" Marv turned to Veda, who looked into her eyes.
