Marv paced around the thatched hut while Veda watched her move back and forth. She was still fresh from realizing she was a vampire and her emotions were filtering through her body, but Marv couldn't pick just one. Her mind was running and her body was shaking, she had a sense of relief and dread but Veda watched, letting Marv work through her emotions before she jumped in and helped her.
Once Marv stopped for a moment, Veda sat forward. "So, how are you taking this news?" she asked, watching Marv's expression. "So, what are you feeling now?"
Marv looked at her for a moment. "It's weird," she responded.
"Talk me through it," Veda said, reassuringly.
