Marv walked into work with a smile on her face. Passing neon colors and the beautiful marble sculptures, she spotted Lace behind the bar, prepping for their shift. Everything seems so normal, so mundane, like the past week had never happened, she was thrown into this world of luxury just to return the workload.
Lace greeted Marv with a big smile. "afternoon, Marv, did you have a pleasant holiday?" she leaned over the bar as Marv passed her.
"Good afternoon, Lace, it was good" Marv placed her bag into the safe and put on her waist coat. "I hope you weren't too busy" she placed her name tag on her chest.
