Chapter 38 - Flame Man

Alpha, his frustration apparent, fought to regain his footing. He muttered under his breath, "This can't be happening. You're just a zombie." The incredibility of a level 2 zombie possessing such formidable strength weighed on him.

Despite the exhaustion and his injuries, Alpha's resolve remained unbroken. He addressed Zorvax directly, his voice unwavering, "Chosen zombie or whatever you are. I'm a human, and I'm the chosen one. Creatures like you won't be the end of me." His words carried the tone of someone determined to stand their ground.

In response, Zorvax emitted a dark, enigmatic chuckle that reverberated through the desolate land. A sardonic smile crept across his lips as he remarked, "You certainly have an abundance of confidence." His voice held an air of amusement. "But I think your current condition speaks for itself."

Alpha's mounting frustration was palpable as he clenched his fists, the muttered curses hanging in the air. The desolate, open land where their clash unfolded absorbed the tension of the battle, the winds sweeping across the barren landscape.

With newfound determination, Alpha surged forward, his fiery power intensifying as he prepared to strike. The flames swirled and danced around his fist, creating an intense spectacle. The desolate land bore witness to this clash between the chosen human and the level 2 zombie.

"Take this, you damn zombie!" Alpha's roar reverberated through the desolate land as he swung his flaming fist toward Zorvax, his determination shining in his eyes. Dust swirled around them as the fiery punch sliced through the air, drawing a bright streak in the dimly lit surroundings. But just as they expected, the situation took an unexpected turn.

With an enigmatic smile playing on his lips, Zorvax decided to take an unexpected and bold step. In a swift motion, he nonchalantly discarded his bone sword, choosing to challenge the fiery attack hurtling toward him. "Let's find out if your power truly matches your fiery display," he taunted, extending his hands to capture Alpha's blazing assault confidently.

Alpha's astonishment was written all over his face, his eyes widening in disbelief as he observed the remarkable sight. He had poured every ounce of his power into this fiery punch, yet Zorvax had effortlessly intercepted it. "This can't be. I've given it my all in this attack. How is it possible for you to just catch it?" His confusion and disbelief were apparent as he struggled against Zorvax's unwavering grip.

Zorvax's response was as enigmatic as ever. "I'm simply stronger, that's all," he asserted, his grip on Alpha's fist tightening. Alpha winced in pain, his face reddening from the pressure. "Damn it, release me!" he demanded, frustration evident as his hand throbbed from the powerful hold.

Zorvax taunted Alpha with a sly smirk. "You claim to be the chosen one. Let's see if you can truly live up to that title."

Desperation coursed through Alpha, and he felt compelled to take a drastic step. "You leave me no choice." He exclaimed, "Limiter Release."

In a split second, the transformation of Alpha's suit was a sight to behold. Its color shifted from its original crimson shade to a much deeper and vibrant red. As this change occurred, flames erupted from Alpha's body, swirling around him like a fiery vortex, giving him the appearance of a living ember.

With a newfound intensity, Alpha proudly declared, "Flame Man." The words echoed through the room, filled with a sense of power that resonated with those who heard them. He stood there, surrounded by the blazing aura of his newfound abilities.

His suit exuded an overwhelming sense of power as Alpha stepped forward to confront Zorvax. The confidence in his voice was unmistakable. The desolate land flickered with the radiant glow of the flames.

Alpha's steps were sure and steady as he prepared to face his enigmatic adversary. The flames seemed to follow his every gesture, emphasizing his newfound strength. He appeared ready to take on Zorvax, his eyes filled with determination and his body radiating the enhanced power of his transformed suit.

His words rang with assurance, "Even a level 2 zombie like you will face the consequences." The confrontation had taken on a new dimension, one where the clash of abilities and strength would determine the outcome.

Zorvax, ever enigmatic, couldn't resist a smile as he replied, "I look forward to witnessing it." The open land, illuminated by the fiery spectacle before them, served as the battleground for their clash of powers and determination.

After what Zorvax said, a fierce confrontation was underway, and Alpha felt challenged like never before. He couldn't resist but shout, "Let me show you what Flame Man can do!" With those words, something extraordinary began to happen.

As the name "Flame Man" suggested, Alpha's transformation was a sight to behold. Fire burst forth from his being, consuming him in a blazing inferno. Flames danced across his entire body, creating a fiery spectacle. Even the hand gripped by Zorvax was ablaze, radiating an intense heat.

With an air of determination, Alpha proclaimed, "I'll reduce you to ashes." He continued to fuel the flames engulfing his clenched fist, intensifying the searing heat. As the flames raged, they took a toll on Zorvax's hand, causing it to smolder and emit a foreboding, dark smoke. Yet, the enigmatic zombie remained unfazed and maintained a subtle smile on his face.

Alpha's shock was evident as he observed the smile on Zorvax's face. "How can you be so composed while taking in my flames? Your hand was practically on fire!"

Zorvax's response was calm and matter-of-fact. "Have you forgotten that I'm a zombie? I don't have pain receptors, so I couldn't care less if my hand was burned. But, my dear human, you're about to experience a world of pain." His enigmatic smile never wavered.

With a sudden surge of power, Zorvax's supernatural strength came to the forefront. He effortlessly lifted Alpha into the air with a single hand, his grip unyielding around Alpha's fiery fist. A sardonic smile played on his lips as he taunted, "Let's see if you can endure this."

Alpha, now suspended in mid-air, felt a deep frown crease on his forehead as he muttered, "No, no, no, no." His face bore the weight of fear and anticipation, a mixture of emotions that mirrored the impending trial he was about to face.

Zorvax paid no heed to Alpha's protests, his resolve unwavering. With an incredible display of strength, he drove Alpha forcefully down to the ground. The impact was so resounding that it sent shockwaves through the desolate landscape. The earth trembled as the two mighty forces clashed.
