Magic particles began to rise from the remnants of the Demon King castle, forming a three-dimensional magic formation beneath everyone. The castle itself transformed into a vast amount of mana, flowing directly into the magic circle. This spell, created by five sorcerers and assisted by the seven Guardians, utilized their combined magic power and that of the Demon King castle to form a magic cannon twice the height of a normal human. With the help of two shamans who buffed her with their spells, Sasha took direct control of the cannon. Her team, lined up behind her, began transferring all their remaining mana to her using her position as the Demon King as the medium.
At the center of it all, Sasha Necron carefully organized the various magic spells needed, aiming her attack at Anos, who was still leisurely walking towards them. Taking a deep breath, Sasha, with renewed confidence, shouted the activation of the spell, "Activate
Like a plasma gun, the magic cannon unleashed the highest level of fire magic their founder used in the great war, firing it straight towards Anos. Instead of what everyone expected, Anos analyzed the spell with interest and muttered, "Hmm, she is definitely suitable for the title 'the Witch of Ruin.' What a rare talent in handling the element of Destruction. Since you showed me such a good show, I shall offer you the same." Stretching his finger towards the incoming magic attack, he calmly said, "
A ball of black flame shot from his finger towards the gigantic attack, canceling
*Boooom*
A huge explosion erupted when the attack clashed with the barrier, shaking the ground beneath them. When the smoke subsided, the barrier remained unscathed. But they couldn't marvel at its resilience as they heard footsteps. As if on cue, the barrier began to fade with Anos approaching them.
Sasha looked at her teammates, seeing half of them already unconscious and the others barely able to keep their eyes open. Deciding to fight to the bitter end, she used her last bit of strength to stand up shakily and faced the enemy king who was now in front of her. Activating her mystic eyes, she commanded, "Die."
"No, I don't want to," replied Anos, also activating his Mystic Eyes, repelling her attack.
"Tsk, just kill me," she spat out.
"Why should I? You are now my subordinate, and it's a waste to kill you," Anos replied.
At his words, Sasha looked at him with hatred. "I'm going to kill you someday."
Anos laughed and said, "Hahaha, if death occurred when one was killed, I would have been dead 2000 years ago." Stretching his hand towards her with a smile, he said, "Now, why don't you join me, Sasha?"
Various thoughts crossed Sasha's mind, but ultimately, she sighed and took his hand. "Fine. The present me cannot match you. Besides, due to
Ignoring her last remark, Anos said, "Then, Sasha, welcome to the team," with a small smile.
Sasha just nodded, looking at her teammates who were slowly healing. At that moment, she didn't have time to think, but now she realized they should have been seriously injured, if not dead, from those two attacks. Looking up at the sky, she saw that the mysterious spell was still active. Activating her magic eyes, she noticed rain-like drops pouring down on her teammates, revealing them to be small healing magic circles.
Astonished, Sasha asked, "Hey, is that magic circle your doing?"
Looking where she was pointing, Anos said, "No, this is just part of Rimuru's spell. That big magic circle is a multi-purpose spell. Put simply, it's like a domain spell. Within that domain, Rimuru can monitor, heal, or protect anyone she sees as an ally. What you are seeing is how the spell heals a person stealthily."
'For her to notice this much detail with her magic eyes, she sure is talented,' Anos thought secretly.
"Is that even possible? I mean, to control not one but three spells together without them self-destructing?" Sasha asked in shock. Casting two spells simultaneously was already considered impossible, as losing focus on one spell would make it explode on the spot.
Anos chuckled, looking at her shocked face. "Multi-tasking isn't impossible, you know. You just have to reach a level where your subconscious does everything."
"Huh…"
---
"Why am I here again?" asked Sasha to no one in particular as everyone stood at the doorstep of Anos's house.
Anos tilted his head and said, "Hmm, isn't it normal for people in the same team to hang out with each other to deepen their bond?"
Before Sasha could answer, Rimuru opened the door, dragging her inside, and loudly said, "Aunt, we are back. Bring us some dinner, please; we have some guests."
Sasha looked at her with a disbelieving expression, wondering if this was her house or Anos's.
"Welcome back, Anos-chan, Rimuru-chan," shouted Isabela as she hugged Anos like usual. "How was your exam today?" she asked anxiously.
"I passed with flying colors," said Anos with a smile.
"That's amazing, Anos-chan! You are a genius. You're still only a month old, yet you keep surpassing great people! You are amazing! Alright, it's decided; I'm making a feast tonight!" said Isabela happily, looking at Anos with a proud gaze.
"Now, now, Auntie, you can't forget about our guests," said Rimuru, chuckling at her antics.
At Rimuru's words, Isabela finally snapped out of her Anos fantasy and looked at the guests. "Oh, hey there, Misha-chan. It's good to see you again. Eehh?"
As she was talking to Misha, she suddenly stopped upon seeing an unfamiliar girl near Anos. The girl curtsied and said, "Nice to meet you, Auntie. I'm Sasha Necron. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. I hope its…"
But her introduction was cut short when Isabela suddenly shouted, "Anos-chan has… Anos-chan has… Anos-chan has brought a second bride home!!!"
Anos facepalmed at this, thinking, 'Well, here we go again.'
