Chapter 95 - Absolute Destruction

Boom! Boom! Boon!

Kneeling on the ground, Kenzo looked at Arima's body bathed in blood. His gaze focused on that man, and he felt profound fatigue that eventually reduced his size to two meters in height.

"Is that all you've got?" Arima asked, limping towards Kenzo. His indifferent gaze fixed on Kenzo's body, and he felt that this couldn't be happening.

"I wonder why you're dying. The strength you possess is absolutely incredible, to a level that very few can surpass... But this is the end. For now, my goal has been achieved. I've won, and there's nothing humans can do," Kenzo said as most of his body returned to that of a common human, except for his right hand.

Arima stopped, looked deeply at Kenzo, and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Now the Washuu family should be exterminated. I killed the one who is your father and took care of cleaning up the organization completely... You should rest now; this world belongs to me." Kenzo raised his right hand, and hundreds, maybe thousands, of blood drops floating around Arima were shot at him like bullets.

Arima didn't have time to dodge; in just a few seconds, dozens of small blood drops pierced his body. The one known as the reaper of the CCG was being annihilated by a Ghoul known until now by only a few.

"It was truly a worthy battle..."

Kenzo watched as everyone aiming weapons from afar trembled in fear. They all saw with their own eyes how the Pillar of Japan had been eliminated by a seemingly invincible Ghoul.

"I surrender!" Kenzo shouted while looking at Arima's corpse a few meters away.

The whole world shook when they heard this. Why would that Ghoul surrender to humans when he practically won?

"Is no one going to step forward to arrest me?" Kenzo asked, surveying the surroundings.

In this battle, there were thousands of corpses of soldiers who fought bravely. But Kenzo knew that it was just a side effect of the battle; humans in this country had lost many soldiers, but this was only a side effect of war.

Thousands of innocent Ghouls had died over the years; children and babies had been killed. If none of the humans had repented over the years, why would Kenzo feel bad for a few necessary deaths?

Shinohara Yukinori broke into a cold sweat as he looked around; all this destruction caused by a single Ghoul was something he couldn't imagine.

"Hey, give me some handcuffs..." Shinohara Yukinori looked at a police officer and ordered him to give him the handcuffs to arrest Kenzo.

From his point of view, they had just killed those who truly controlled Japan, and it was a necessary evil that everyone needed to move forward as a society.

As he walked among the corpses, he believed this was the best thing that could have happened to everyone. If it weren't for Kenzo's conviction, humans would likely have been controlled by Ghouls, forcing humans to kill more Ghouls in what seemed like an endless war.

"Will you let yourself be dragged?" Shinohara Yukinori asked, looking at Kenzo a few centimeters away.

"Of course, come and arrest me," Kenzo said, looking at the man in front of him.

If everything is okay, with the current CCG president dead, someone should take his place, and Shinohara Yukinori thinks he can do it. This way, with the help of his infiltrators in the government, they could reach a unification agreement.

Full of courage, Shinohara Yukinori walked towards Kenzo and handcuffed him. Maybe this is not the expected ending, but it is the best that could happen.

When Kenzo was moved to a specially armored Ghoul vehicle, the battle had finally ended, and everyone began to establish order.

Winning a battle but losing the war is a human paradox that reveals the importance of long-term perspective, and Shinohara Yukinori understood it perfectly.

Sometimes, focusing on momentary victories can blind us to the bigger picture. True wisdom lies in understanding that real conquest involves strategy, resilience, and the ability to adapt to long-term challenges.

"Ephemeral victory can be deceiving, reminding us that the true measure of success lies in achieving lasting goals and building a sustainable future," murmured Shinohara Yukinori upon learning of all the damages Ghouls had caused in areas far from the battlefield.

With the death of the CCG reaper, many determined that they were in a state of emergency, and soon Shinohara Yukinori was appointed with the support of the Three-Eyed Crow organization.

High-ranking officials soon established a proposal, secretly accepting all Ghouls as a society that could change as long as the vaccine effectively emerges in them.

For now, negotiations were underway.
