Chapter 91 - The Fear

Shinohara Yukinori didn't want to return home because he was nervous about the sudden visit from the Crow Master. So, he rented a hotel room to await the long-awaited visit that might not happen today. However, in the middle of the night, just as he was about to fall asleep, the windows of his room shattered as a shadow entered.

Boom!

Amidst a mist of blood, Kenzo appeared as the Crow Master and stared at Shinohara Yukinori intently. The latter was motionless, so Kenzo said, "The plan to eliminate the high-ranking officials of the CCG is in motion. I understand we can rely on you for our future, correct?"

Shinohara Yukinori, who had recently been investigating the Crow Master, nodded slightly and said, "You can rest assured that I will fulfill my role. But are you sure you have control over all the Ghouls in Japan?"

"Over the years, I have taken care of eliminating all the bad Ghouls in Japan. That fact is true, so you should be at ease because I will do my part, just as I told you, Kenzo..."

Kenzo, covered with his characteristic mask, said, "We don't want war, but you know perfectly well that we will win any war that is to come for our own safety."

"Keep in mind that if you don't accept us, if you humans don't accept the peace treaty, then we will start creating terrorist attacks. We will be so cruel to all of you that you will feel true fear for the first time in your life."

Kenzo's words may sound cruel, but that was the absolute truth. He wouldn't calm his crows until a truce between humans and Ghouls ceased throughout Japan. And while this happens in this part of the world, it will be quiet because it won't be the only country to undergo this kind of revolution.

Many of Japan's allies will face the same war with the same strength and brutality. The United States will stay on the sidelines, knowing that they both have an agreement in which mercenary Ghouls are provided for their private wars and to take control of the Ghouls in that area.

Kenzo had everything planned, so he just had to do his part and wait for positive results from those he had chosen to trust.

"And how do you plan to do that?" Shinohara Yukinori couldn't say he trusted Kenzo, but he was sure that he did want a change.

"I will surrender, but before that, I must make sure to deliver a good blow to the CCG, and for that, I will kill the Ghoul Reaper who has never been defeated. Once I do that, I will surrender, and you will initiate the plan represented to the humans."

"So, you're saying that you..."

Kenzo smiled and said, "For the families of the dead to live in peace, you must publicly kill me. Of course, I trust that I won't die, but anything can happen from one day to the next."

"How do you expect me to capture you in the first place if you kill Arima, who is the strongest of the Reapers?"

"I will surrender once everything is done..." Kenzo said while looking at Shinohara Yukinori, who was his puppet in this operation.

"Where will it be?"

"In District One. Make sure Arima comes to see me personally because I will kill him."

After saying that, Kenzo stood at the edge and said, "I will send you the location after I know where to do it. Preferably, I don't want people who are not fighting to die."

After saying that, Kenzo disappeared into a curtain of blood, leaving Shinohara Yukinori paralyzed on the floor.

"This is madness..."

...

Viper met with Kenzo to make sure he understood all the plans in mind and asked, "Are you sure about simulating your death later?"

"That's right. Once we reach peace in the war with humans being defeated, we will have to give humans a false victory so that they understand the meaning we are bringing to the new world."

Kenzo had a vision in mind, but he knew human limits, so he would prefer to stay safe until the cure for Ghouls was complete. If that was a success, there would be no way for humans to continue fighting against Ghouls.

In that peaceful world, Kenzo would leave Kaneki, who would be in charge of uniting the two worlds into a single philosophy, and he would ultimately retire from the world to a peaceful life in some village in this country.

He didn't want to admit it, but this life was too bloody; he wanted to stop it once and for all, and that's what he would do. If he won, he would retire from the bustling society to a quiet place like the countryside.

"You must take care of keeping everyone in check. As my official subordinate, you must take control of the organization." Kenzo said as he extended his hand to his good friend.

"Thank you for everything, my lord, and good luck. Victory awaits us."

Kenzo smiled and murmured, "Victory awaits us, my friend..."
