At this moment, Akira was on the brink of a mental collapse. He had a son, but that boy was utterly useless, and none of his great traits passed on to his son like other people. That boy was disappointing; the only good thing he would do is cause trouble.
However, that boy, who was now eighteen years old, was good at providing many considerations. Many of his girlfriends, with whom he played, were brought by his son.
"Surely, humans right now will try to find us, but you know well that even if they do, you will die in this place..." Kenzo looked at Akira with a penetrating gaze.
"Right now, I will personally punish you; everyone wants you to be punished..." When Kenzo said these words, Akira became so anxious that he started to go crazy.
He didn't want to die!
He had finally reached this point in his life where nothing worried him. He was rich, enjoyed a respectable status, had many women, and had everything every man in the world dreamed of!
He felt that he hadn't fully enjoyed all those privileges, and he wasn't even fifty yet. How could he die here like this?
Akira was lost in his thoughts. When he saw Kenzo standing in the distance, he ran towards the door directly where the elevator was, but he saw it going down. He desperately tried to call it, but it was already impossible.
"Damn! Damn! Damn!"
Akira cursed as he ran towards the stairs. He could already feel the pain in his body gradually becoming sharper and didn't understand why.
"Listen, I know what you want! I have money, please don't kill me..."
Akira took a deep breath and shouted, "Help, someone is going to kill me... Quickly, help me!"
"What do I do? What do I do?"
Thinking of something, he quickly took out his phone and shouted after calling the police, "Hello? If someone wants to kill me, they must come quickly..."
The operator who had been awake all night said calmly and slowly, "Don't worry. Tell me slowly. Where are you? Do you know the person who wants to kill you? What phone are you calling from now?"
"Don't you hear me? Someone wants to kill me; I'm in the Alessio building on the ninth floor, come here quickly... Damn it, I don't pay so many taxes for you to work so slowly."
At that moment, Kenzo, who had not moved from his position, felt and said slowly, "Some heroes achieve their status through a long-term commitment to a cause or social issue. Their dedication and persistence in seeking solutions can have a significant impact over time."
...
Five minutes later, two police cars left from the nearest police station and raced towards the building where Akira lived.
"Chief, we found the live broadcast." Shouted a police officer as he handed the computer to the chief.
"We did too..."
"How can they broadcast on hundreds of different channels at once?"
Hiroyuki Kagura, from district 1 of the Tokyo Police Department, took the computer and could see with a grim expression at least six open windows from different websites where the live broadcast was being transmitted. In the transmission, he could see Akira writhing. Needless to say, this was due to some kind of muscle poison.
As if for show, the camera followed Akira as he tried to escape. When he reached the door, he opted for the stairs. As he fell, his head hit the ground hard, causing blood to flow from his head.
"A live broadcast of a murder. Who do they think they are?"
"I don't care, shut this garbage down!"
A logistics police officer responded, "Chief, it doesn't matter if we shut down one account... There are thousands streaming the video, and they've also hacked the city screens... This isn't a disorder; our only way would be to interfere with the general server of the websites where it's being transmitted. Still, that would be useless. It would be an even bigger impact because we'd be giving credibility to the broadcast!"
When Kagura heard this, he hesitated on how to react. He couldn't shut it down, so he had to think of another way because every passing second reached more people.
"Ghoul investigators waste their time hunting Ghouls when there are much more despicable enemies to humanity that no one takes into account... Ten years, this bastard has spent ten years as a fugitive when he should be dead."
When Kagura heard those words, he frowned and ordered, "Communicate immediately with higher departments and tell them to shut down all servers of all websites streaming the content of this broadcast."
"Yes, sir!"
Beep! Beep! Beep!
At that moment, an alarm sounded throughout the building, confusing everyone.
"What the hell is happening?"
"Sir, they are trying to sabotage us..." Several programmers tried to prevent hackers from entering the police servers, but it was futile.
"Quick, disconnect all computers!"
