Suddenly Gatot's eyes widened to stare at the monitor screen in front of him. Then he seemed to be busy pressing his laptop keyboard.
Gatot occasionally looked at Ken, then shook his head and looked back at the screen.
Gatot wiped the sweat from his temples even though this room was air-conditioned, but there was still sweat flowing and wetting his head.
Then Gatot appears to make some phone calls. He asked about some stock rises and this made Ken immediately stare at the laptop screen in front of him and it turned out that just as Ken had predicted, all the Blue Chip stocks that Ken had chosen had risen tremendously.
Ken was relieved that the ability he had in the past had now returned to him or at least more precisely, the ability that Ken had in predicting the stock market, never changed, never faded from Ken, even though it had been more than a year since Ken had fiddled with the stock market.
Previously, when Gatot thrust a laptop in front of Ken with an account owned by Gatot in it and asked Gatot to double the deposit that Gatot had in the account, Ken was hesitant.
Ken had a little doubt that his instincts were still with him because for over a year, he had never been a stock trader but as it turned out, his ability had not disappeared.
Previously, Ken only needed to look for a few seconds to be able to predict the stocks that would jump in the next few moments and all 3 stocks of companies with varying number of shares that Ken used for this test all managed to jump like crazy in just a short time.
Ken was satisfied. He smiled in his heart. He deliberately didn't develop a smile because he didn't want to make Gatot suspicious, so he pretended not to understand what was going on.
Gatot made several calls to several people. It seemed that he wanted to make sure about what happened because what happened, he didn't really believe.
Finally, Gatot approached Ken and said, "Why did you choose those three stocks?"
Ken pretended not to know that the stocks he had chosen had experienced an extraordinary surge in price. Then he asked, "So what, Mr. Gatot? Did the stocks I picked lose money?" Ken pretended to make a worried face.
Gatot immediately shook his head. "No, they didn't. The stocks you chose went up dramatically. Some went up 200 percent from the previous price, some went up 500 percent, some even went up 600 percent and that's something great for a beginner."
"Wow. I'm so happy. I think I've made you a loss, sir. I think I've made your deposit disappear, Mr. Gatot."
Gatot, who had been standing up, now sat down and looked questioningly at Ken and said, "Didn't Lidya ever teach you how to play stocks directly before?"
Ken shook his head. "Not yet, sir."
"Because that was great. Even Lidya never achieved such a great victory. You know? You managed to predict the stocks that would jump very precisely. Because of that, I want to do the experiment again."
"Experiment again?" asked Ken.
"Yes. I want you to go back to playing stocks. You can either sell the stocks you won earlier, or if you don't want to, I'll increase the deposit in your account so that you can buy other stocks that are likely to go up like those. How about it?"
Ken went back to watching the stock market for a while. After 5 minutes, he said, "The 3 stocks I bought earlier can't be sold yet because in about an hour they will rise quite rapidly. One is up to 600 percent of its original price. The second one will rise about 800 percent again. The last one, the one that jumped the highest, will rise by 1000 percent."
"Is it true what you're saying, because it seems quite impossible."
"Nothing is impossible in the stock market, sir."
"Then, leave those stocks, because I want to know if your prediction was correct or not. So, this is it for now."
"Yes, sir?"
"I want you to play with my other account, which has a much larger deposit than my previous account. You play my account, picking stocks that are likely to go up in the next few minutes. How's that? Is that possible?"
After saying that, without waiting for an answer from Ken, Gatot gave the laptop in front of him to Ken and took back the laptop that was previously in front of Ken.
Because on this second laptop that Gatot gave him, it had an account with a much higher deposit than the one Ken had used earlier.
Ken watched the stock market for another 5 minutes. After that, he was not like before, he only chose two stocks, but he bought a much larger number of shares than before.
After that, Ken gave the laptop back to Gatot.
Gatot was immediately shocked because the amount spent by Ken to buy shares of two major companies in the country, was very large and unexpected.
"What is it, sir?"
"You bought a lot of shares. What if the share price falls? You'll lose money, right?"
"I hope I don't lose money, sir. Hopefully it will be like before. Take it easy, sir."
Gatot nodded. But, even so, there was a feeling of fear inside him. He was afraid that the deposit Ken had used would make him lose money.
Because Ken was spending a very large deposit and this deposit belonged to the company and Gatot would have to take responsibility if this deposit suffered a loss because of Ken's share purchase.
Gatot could only regret himself because he forgot to tell Ken, the limit that Ken could use from the amount of deposit in the account on the laptop that Gatot gave to Ken earlier. Now Gatot can only regret that he forgot that.
"You're not going anywhere, are you? I want to know what happened," Gatot said to Ken.
"Okay, I'm here, Mr. Gatot. I hope I don't make you lose anything."
Gatot was silent as he continued to watch the stock market on the laptop in front of him.
Meanwhile, Ken received a WA chat from Lidya asking about the progress of the Test that Ken was undergoing in Gatot's room.
"Going quite well, Lidya." That was all Ken had to say.
Lidya also only said that she was still busy in the stock market, in her room. But she would be back to see Ken in about half an hour.
Ken kept waiting until suddenly Gatot burst out laughing.
"Why, sir? Why are you laughing?"
