Chapter 51 - Oh, I see. So, how did your date go?

The President and Vice President were surprised by how quickly their time together flew by. Meiko, who had been eagerly anticipating this moment, couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. However, she made sure to hide her true emotions from Mari.

Nevertheless, that moment will permanently be etched in Meiko's memory, and she cherishes it dearly. Every now and then, she would smile with fondness as she recalled Mari's delight in savoring her lunch from a close distance.

During their time together, Meiko often took charge of the conversation with the President of the Underground Student Council. It was clear that she had a knack for keeping the discussion flowing, as she always had something interesting to talk about with Mari.

After picking up the trash from their meals, Meiko left while Mari went back to their Underground Student Council room.

As she took each step, her demeanor remained carefree, undisturbed by the clatter of the trash hitting the can. Her smile remained unwavering, radiating a sense of ease and contentment. The other female students she walked past also appeared to be impacted by Meiko's unusually cheerful demeanor, as it was a rare sight for them.

As she made her way towards the rear of the school building, it was clear that she had a clear objective in mind.

Soon enough, she stumbled upon a group of five young men dressed in prison attire, diligently gathering fallen leaves that littered the forest floor. Ever since that incident, she sensed a subtle change in them.

"Great, just keep going, and you'll be back to studying like any other student," she said with a casual tone. Her gaze seemed more at ease, lacking the usual intensity she typically displayed.

"We understand, Vice President Meiko," the five guys replied in unison, with Kiyoshi being his usual laid-back self. Upon first glance, Meiko experiences a vivid hallucination of a rainbow appearing above them.

The atmosphere seemed surprisingly tranquil, but she didn't dwell on it for long, "So, I've got something important to share with all of you."

Despite Meiko's upbeat mood, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of impatience as she watched them slowly form a line in front of her. She proceeded to deliver a swift kick to Gakuto's stomach, as he happened to be the closest to her.

She opted for a lenient punishment, considering Gakuto still remained on his feet. However, his evident discomfort was apparent as he continued to cough and clutch his stomach.

Shingo, Joe, and Andre seized the moment as Meiko's legs were raised high, revealing a glimpse of her purple panties. However, their triumph was short-lived as they each crumpled to the ground in agony, bearing the unmistakable imprints of Meiko's foot on their stomachs.

"I won't reiterate the point, so pay attention. When it's time for The District Track Meet to take place, and you mess up, expect punishment like cleaning the toilet with your tongue or worse."

Meiko yelled everything right in front of Kiyoshi, with a bit of her spit landing on his face. However, compared to the physical abuse his friend had endured, it was relatively mild. As they finally tuned in, Meiko nodded and carried on:

"As the name suggests, this event is all about different types of running competitions. Although this competition had a casual and friendly atmosphere, the participants still displayed their competitive spirit. This is because Hachimitsu Academy is not the only school participating."

Upon hearing that, a wave of excitement swept over everyone. Meiko was filled with disgust as she observed their grimacing faces and the perverted gleam in their eyes. Even Kiyoshi, who used to appear lazy, suddenly became intrigued.

"Vice President-dono, is the event gonna be held at this school?" Gakuto asked, his hand raised in earnest, eager for a response. However, his question was abruptly interrupted by a whip striking his cheek, causing him to let out a loud scream.

"Try not to get too carried away. I have some concerns about entrusting you with such an important task, especially considering that this year's District Track Meet will be held at Hachimitsu Academy."

Kiyoshi was aware that Meiko was simply toying with them. The Underground Student Council wouldn't pass up the chance to both punish them and make them do their work for free.

He chose not to join Shingo, Joe, and Andre in confronting Gakuto and his tendency to speak without thinking. He couldn't help but fixate on Meiko, curious about her day because his promise to give Meiko time alone with Mari should have been fulfilled.

As Kiyoshi had anticipated, Meiko abruptly ended the altercation with a display of even greater aggression. Kiyoshi could easily spot the small grin on her face as clear as the sun, even though she tried to hide it from everyone.

Next, they were informed about the two tasks ahead. First, they needed to meticulously clear the track of any rocks and rubbish. Once that was done, they could proceed with setting up tents and completing other necessary preparations.

However, they were not informed about the event's details. Meiko, the reason being that she believed the decision made by the Underground Student Council was not yet final and required further consideration. It was evident that the Underground Student Council regarded them as wild beasts that required constant surveillance.

"Kiyoshi, come with me," Meiko said, her intentions subtly conveyed through her words. Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to them, and with a single stern look from Meiko, they quickly averted their eyes, not daring to sneak another glance.

"Do we have to go all the way on here? They can't be seen anymore, so you don't have to worry too much," Kiyoshi reassured. Up until now, he had been obedient, but as he walked behind her, it was clear that he had other thoughts on his mind.

"I need to be more cautious when discussing Mari," Meiko let out a sigh, unsure if she was making the right decision. However, in that moment, she strongly desired to vent her frustrations on someone. And because Kiyoshi was involved, she didn't give him a pass.

"Oh, I see. So, how did your date go?" Kiyoshi noticed that Meiko seemed to sweat more than usual, and he couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with Mari.

Meiko paused as she reached the other side of the school building, shooting him a sharp glance. She felt a twinge of offense at his words but chose not to react. She settled into an old chair that had been discarded, ready to have a conversation with Kiyoshi.

"I didn't think you'd be able to convince Mari. How did you manage to do it? Imagine my surprise when she unexpectedly came up to me in the canteen!" Despite her previously aloof demeanor, she displayed a hint of enthusiasm at this moment.

"Hold on a sec... my waist is killing me from squatting and collecting trash all day," Kiyoshi said, hoping to grab another chair. However, Meiko abruptly blocked his way, displaying rudeness.

"No, think of this as your consequence after I consistently showed you more leniency compared to your other friends."
