Chapter 2 - Her Confidence.

The sun was setting as a young girl walked down the street. She had her head down, avoiding the eyes of the other kids that were walking around. As she passed a group of her bully friends, she heard one of them call out her name.

"Hey, xai!" The girl said in a taunting voice.

Blind xai stopped and reluctantly turned to face them. "What do you want?" She asked.

"What's wrong? You look like you're about to cry." The bully said, a smirk on her face.

xai shook her head. "No, I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind."

The bully laughed. "Oh, so now you're too good for us? You think you're better than us?"

Don't forget you are blind

xai sighed. "No, that's not it. I'm just not in the mood to talk right now."

The bully stepped closer to Sarah. "What, are you scared of us? You think we're going to hurt you?"

Sarah shook her head again. "No, I just don't want to talk right now. Please, just leave me alone."

The bully laughed again. "Oh, so now you're too good for us? You think you're better than us?"

With much anger within her xai looked down at the ground and replied. "No, I don't think that. I just don't want to talk right now. Please, just leave me alone."

The bully stepped even closer to xai. "What, are you scared of us? You think we're going to hurt you?"ook her head and looked up, her eyes meeting the bully's. "No, I'm not scared. I just don't want to talk right now. Please, just leave me alone."

The bully stepped back and the group of kids moved on. Sarah breathed a sigh of relief and continued on her way. She knew that she had stood up for herself and she was proud of that. She knew that she didn't have to put up with the bullies' taunts and that she could stand up for herself. From then on, she was determined to keep her head held high and to never let anyone push her around.
