Seeing the slightly taller figure opposite her Ceara couldn't help looking up at the lady with green eyes who looked stunning in all ways possible and smile widely at her and said,"Hi". The lady opposite her looked at her then said," hey, what do you want?".
Looking at the woman who was looking a bit to serious but she couldn't care less cause she was too excited to let others negativity spoil her mood," I'm your new roommate", Ceara said with a smile on her face before she could continue she heard the beautiful lady said,"come in". The lady helped her with her other luggage which she found sweet,getting into the beautifully decorated room with white and purple wallpapers and vine leafs all over the wall Ceara was still admiring the room and didn't notice the blond girl with blue eyes sitting at the other side of the room staring right at her,"Who's the chick". Looking forward she saw the a blond hair girl with gorgeous blue eyes sitting on the bunk bed below,she couldn't help but think if this was law school or a modelling school cause why are all the people she met today so fine. Finally snapping out of her thoughts she heard the green eyes lady saying,"she's our roommate", Ceara who was now staring at the green eyes lady heard the blond girl replied,"ohhh okay nice to meet you....I'm Caterin. You?". Upon hearing the blond girl's reply and question she was quite happy cause it looks like the girl likes her more than the green eyes lady." I'm Ceara, nice to meet you too". Looking at the both of them interacting like they weren't strangers Sarah couldn't help but get a little jealous and blurted out,"don't you want to know my own name". Looking at the green eyes lady standing beside her with furrowed brow she couldn't help but think if she did something wrong before she could ask she had Caterin said," Sarah please don't get jealous all because she asked for my name and not yours, you'll get to know each other later... There's plenty of time". Sarah who was now as red as a tomato because Caterin had blurted out what was in her mind and she couldn't deny it cause it was true. Ceara who was now staring back and forth from the green eyes lady who she now knows goes by Sarah and Caterin. After a few minutes of silence Ceara couldn't bare it,"Hmmmm where can I set up", saying this Ceara pointed to the box in her and the one next to Sarah. "You can take that bed", saying this Sarah pointed to a bed at the upper right corner of the room beside the reading table and wardrobe. Ceara saw her bed was quite okay but the only problem was there were just plain white sheets on the bed, Ceara did not mind at all since she brought like two bedspreads and three duvet covers. "So where are you from. I can tell, your accent is so different", said Caterin.
"I'm from South Africa ". Ceara replied with hesitation. Caterin who had a surprised looked in her eyes couldn't help but look at Ceara from up to down again,"are joking with me".
"Nope,why would I be joking or don't I look African". Ceara said that in a mocking tone. Caterin couldn't help but be fascinated cause she has never met anyone from Africa not that she didn't want to but she grew up in America and not to lie she hard a lot of bad things about Africans, i.e. Africans are monkeys and that all leave in the forest, it's the poorest continent in the world,some Africans eat people and so on. As she was lost in thought and staring at Ceara,she had Sarah voice called out to her,"Earth to Caterin, she's not a celebrity why stare at her so much. Saying this Sarah rolled her eyes which made Ceara a little mad cause why say it like that couldn't she be a little nicer to her, Ceara who had a furrowed brow and gave Sarah a dead stare," what's wrong if she stares at me aren't I good enough to be a celebrity". Sarah who was now full of surprise from Ceara outburst couldn't help but smirk without reply only raising her phone up and continued what she was doing. Seeing the Awkward atmosphere Caterin couldn't help but reply to Ceara who was now arranging her clothes neatly into the white wardrobe beside her bed," Ceara,so how was South Africa like, I really want to know more about you and your culture". Hearing this Ceara mood eased a bit and she smiled at Caterin," I love the fact that you wanna get to know me and I'll teach you everything you wanna know but I don't think I can do that currently how about you show me around this evening and while we're at it I'll explain to you what my mouth can say for the day". Caterin who loved hearing Ceara talk cause her accent sounds so pleasing to her ear replied,"okay then,let me help you with that so we can start early ". While the two of them were neatly arranging Ceara's clothes into the wardrobe and laughing like there was no one else, they didn't notice the peer of eyes staring right at them with a little bit of jealousy and anger.
