A few days later, Leonardo, who was fishing on the river side lightly hummed a tune. Next to him a blonde woman also held a pole while they watched the two lines in the river. Then with a soft yank, she began to reel in a small fish.
"I caught another one." Raya said.
"It's a decent size too." Leonardo nodded as he reeled in his own fishing line.
There on their hooks were two fish where they unhooked them and put them back into the river. Neither of the two planned to keep any fish on this fishing trip if they can help it. Now for why Raya was fishing beside him, Leonardo couldn't really say as he had no clue. Over the last few days she just came to hang out with him and Dancer.
"So why are we fishing? Last I knew you didn't like it." Raya asked.
"I really don't, but it's something to do is it not?" Leonardo replied. "It beats sitting in an apartment waiting for a call or going to work."
Raya tilted her head before nodding in agreement since sitting in one spot such as Leonardo apartment is really boring. Why doesn't he buy a television or a computer to play on outside of work. She didn't know, he also just recently bought a new television and dvd player so he can watch the movies Aurora sends at times.
"You live a really boring life." Raya remarked.
"That is true." Leonardo didn't deny.
Leonardo truly did have a boring life since he goes to work, hunts down criminals, writes a couple reports, plays with Dancer and writes a book or two. Due to the speed he sends books to be reviewed and published. It is rumored and believed that his pen name is a group of authors.
"So did Kal tell you about fighting the Phantom a few days ago?" Raya changed topics.
"The one he tracked down to Lex's military laboratory?" Leonardo asked.
Due to him being the one to fight Titan, Lex didn't manage to get the body or blood. So Lex's super soldier Ares project shifted considerably. Which was probably for the better, however, he didn't expect that Clark in return would get word from Jones, the Martian Manhunter about the phantom. Thus rushed there before Lex, who managed to grab it, or more like the phantom allowed him to grab it could do anything.
Thus, due to lack of caution, boldness or some unforeseen reason. The phantom managed to get some DNA from Clark and became Bizzaro. Thus, Clark ended up destroying the entire research laboratory where Lex ran questionable experiments under a dam. Thus caused quite a mess truth be told.
Probably the only good thing, well if it can be considered good. Lana broke away from Lex since it seems they were having marriage problems. From what he learned more to Lex being investigated due to the amount of bodies flowing out of the broken laboratory. Lana accused him of bribing her therapist, faking her pregnancy, and quite a few other events.
"Yeah," Raya nodded. "It seems that among the wreckage, Lois stumbled across a female Krptonian ship. Then she was knocked out and Clark got his butt handed to him by the owner. He asked me to help him find her since he is afraid the new krypton survivor might do something terrible intentionally or unintentionally."
"Is it so much that he got beaten or did he not fight back? Very few Kryptonians should be able to beat Clark due to how long he spent under the sun. Unless she was using a variant of kryptonite, General Zod or someone of his skill level should be able to hold their own against him."
Leonardo already had a guess who this girl was, but if she had the ability to fight against Clark. It is unlikely to happen if Clark gets serious since he is a bit skilled in fighting and a whole lot stronger than any Krpytonian who just tasted the yellow sun. Besides, even when Clark's fight General Zod, he is more worried about the destruction of their fights than being overpowered by Zod.
"Well, we are having trouble tracking her down." Raya said in a testing tone.
"I guess, I can help you track her down." Leonardo sighed.
Well, he may sigh, Leonardo was actually interested in tracking her down more so to see and if so meet Kara. He wanted to dig her out a few years ago, but held off. First of all, she had kryptonite around her ship which could be handled easily. However, he was told it was ill advised at the time and he just decided to adopt a wait and see approach.
Now the time has come for Kara to arrive, naturally Leonardo wanted to meet her. If nothing else, he will have a new friend like Raya. A person who would come hang out with him from time to time.
'Well, Aurora will probably have different ideas, but she always has strange thoughts.' Leonardo thought to himself.
He wasn't opposed to such ideas, but he just felt bad or guilty. It was a strange contradiction within him. Truth be told, he didn't oppose the idea of a small harem or strange ideas Aurora wants to do with threesomes. However, he just felt terrible after all.

"Well, I can say she has a nice butt." Leonardo said as he sipped on his drink.
"Kryptonians have long optimized our genes so we are appealing to most humanoid races throughout most 28 known galaxies. I would be worried if her butt wasn't nice." Raya replied dryly.
Leonardo gave Raya a sideways glance, since he felt she didn't appreciate his joke. Then again it's probably what it's like having a studious friend who wants to talk biology instead of looking at pretty girls on the beach. Which is probably why she looked away after a moment of thinking as she felt a tiny bit embarrassed.
Even her words were a bit redundant as Leonardo has learned that aspect of Krypton history and sciences. However, the two just stood there at the edge of the park sipping on their drinks as they ate lunch. They didn't immediately confront Kara, who Raya recognizes upon seeing her.
"I don't understand why she is looking at various children." Raya asked.
"Probably looking for Kal. My guess is she thinks he just arrived and has not been here for sixteen or so years." Leonardo replied with a shrug.
"She did have an attachment to him the short while Kal lived on Krypton before being sent off." Raya commented after a moment. "However, her ship should have told her how much time passed."
Leonardo thought for a moment. "Well, she either didn't check or the kryptonite Clark noted to be near the ship might cause an issue. Kryptonian things don't tend to react well near it much like us."
"Probably didn't. She has always been a bit brash." Raya nodded.
When they saw that Kara was about to take off. Leonardo stood up and wiped his hands before he headed over to her. Where she coldly told him to leave and tried to take off.
Grabbing her shoulder, he applied enough pressure to make sure she wouldn't run off. "I think we shall have a nice chat."
"How is this possible?" Kara said, surprised and wary.
"Why isn't it possible?" Raya appeared behind Kara.
"Raya? How are you here?" Kara said in surprise.
"Well, let's go to a more private spot and chat." Leonardo said as parents and children are beginning to watch them. "It wouldn't be very nice to have a long chat in the middle of a playground."

While Raya chatted with Kara and basically tried to bring her up to speed. Leonardo sent Clark a text to move Kara's ship before someone else finds and moves it. After all, it wouldn't do having it blowing up. It would be very messy and probably be considered one of America's worst tragedies.
'Now the question is, does she have a blue crystal clone crystal.' Leonardo thought to himself.
