"It seems like you like playing Garba and Dandiya a lot" said Bhavin. Jay looked next to him and watched Bhavin looking at him. "Well.. I love playing Garba and Dandiya it's the source of happiness for me" replied Jay.
As both the guys played Dandiya. Jay's friends just looked at the duo as they don't know whether to join them or to give the space to their friend. Jay out of curiosity asked, "I have never seen you here in the past fifteen years. That only means you are not from here."
Bhavin hit the dandiya stick of Jay as both the guys took a spin as he replied, "Well it's my first time here but I must say I quite like it." And when he said that his eyes were on Jay. Jay didn't know why but felt shy as his cheeks turned red. Bhavin at that very moment felt his heart skip a beat when he watched the shy boy.
It was at that time a beautiful lady joined Jay and Bhavin as she glared at Bhavin and said, "You.. You didn't wait for me." Jay knows that the lady is stranger to him so it means that she is talking with Bhavin. He looked at Bhavin and then at the newcomer and the very thought that came to his mind is that they may be a couple.
Seeing a beautiful lady the three guys from the Jay's group decide to join him. And Bhavin didn't like the moment of his getting ruined as he watched Jay's focus shifting from him to the three guys who had just come. He doesn't know why he got jealous but he sure is jealous.
Bhavin then suddenly introduced his best friend to Jay because he felt that Jay would misunderstand them. "This is Kinjal, my best friend." Jay took a spin and hit his dandiya stick with Kinjal as a sign of greeting. He then smiled as he introduced his best friends to Bhavin and Kinjal.
"These are Hemant, Vicky, Vishal, Shreya and Riya" introduced Jay. As Shreya and Riya too joined the rest of the group. Kinjal gave a wicked smile to Bhavin as she asked, "Does Jay have a partner because she is watching Jay playing either with friends or with strangers."
Bhavin wanted to scold Kinjal for being so blunt but when he heard Jay's reply he gave her his blessings as Jay replied, "I'm only 21 now and I'm still single because I haven't met with someone, someone who could flutter my heart."
Of course these question got redirected to Kinjal by Vicky as she nodded her head in affirmation that she is seeing someone. Mr. Thakkar walk towards Jay as he whispered something in his ear and Jay excused himself as he followed him. Shreya and Riya could see disappointment on the face of Bhavin so they decided to play their card and asked, "We haven't seen you before here?"
Kinjal immediately replied because she could see her best friend disappointed when Jay excused himself. As she replied, "Well.. Yes it's our first time here as we have come for our business purpose and since it's Navratri so we decided to seek Goddess blessings for this project." Since they are on questionnaire and Dandiya so Bhavin asked, "What about Jay?"
The girls giggled as Hemant asked, "What about him?" Bhavin with a smile asked, "I meant is he from here?" Vishal nodded his head as he continued, "Yes he is born here and raised here in Mumbai. His parents are doctors and Jay too wanted to be a doctor."
Bhavin visualized Jay in doctor's coat and a natural smile appeared on his face. Kinjal has realized that his best friend has lost his heart to Jay.
Meanwhile on the other side Jay followed Mr. Thakkar who led him to his mother who informed him that she has to leave from the venue to the hospital that there's an urgent patient in the hospital which needed her care so she wanted to ask if her son would go home or will stay at the venue playing Garba. Jay smiled and replied that he will go home after playing Garba and she doesn't have to worry about him.
She leave her son in the care of Mr. Thakkar as she drove to the hospital. Jay has already back in the ground but this time he joined a random group playing Garba.
Him playing Garba caught attention of the other players as the vibe he is giving to others were so good that they by looking at him joined playing Garba. All of a sudden a huge crowd has gathered over at one side of the ground.
Bhavin and others stopped playing as they watched people rushing towards a side where a huge crowd has gathered. Bhavin and Kinjal got curious as they too start walking towards the crowd when Bhavin heard one of Jay's friend saying, "I bet this is the work of Jay."
Bhavin now get more curious as he walked faster and reached the crowd as he start to ask for the space until he reach in front. And that's when he saw his Jay lost in his own world playing Garba with a huge smile on his face.
His moves were swift, displayed joy and matched to the song 'Moti Veerana' played in background as if he is truly welcoming the Goddess. The crowd cheered, as if they could feel his joy and happiness. And the next thing that happened surprised Bhavin and Kinjal to the core.
As playing Garba, covered in sweats Jay just said, "Ae Halo!" And within a fraction of seconds the crowd joined him in playing Garba. As if he controlled the crowd as they all started playing Garba in a swing. Couple drones captured the moments even Bhavin and Kinjal too were playing Garba without realizing. Bhavin's eyes were only focused on Jay as he couldn't believe what just happened.
And that's when he heard Shreya, "He is called Garba King for some reason."
