Thomas(Beta)'s POV
'Tom, please bring Tyler with you by the lockers...Luca just fainted' Rosa mind linked me and i could feel the panic in our pack bond
"Tyler, we need to go. Luca just fainted " , i whispered to her and as soon as she heard that she stood up very alarmed as we ran out of Physics class without even consulting Mr Emmanuel.
"Take him to the pack doctor", Rosa said that as we arrived to the lockers and Tyler went to try to wake Luca up
I realised Rosa said it in that voice, the one i wished i wouldn't hear it again after what happened to her brother
She sounded lost and so vulnerable as she ran away
. 'Don't go Rosa, he will need you when he wakes up', i tried mindlinking her but she closed hers as she went out of the school so fast
I knew what was going to happen
It was going to happen again and i also knew we can't do anything just like we couldn't that day she disappeared to a place where no one knew of
But right now it wasn't the time to sulk about Rosa going. I will have to make sure her mate survives otherwise she will bring to everyone. And Alia might go rogue which is the most scariest thing as she's the powerful Alpha of Alphas.
I called my assistance, Miranda to inform her of what happened and within few minutes they arrived with help. If any human from school saw us they'd just thing the paramedics came to take Luca.
As we followed the van going to the pack doctor. Tyler fell asleep on my shoulder as she was mentally exhausted and i guess that's how she deals with stress.
And we arrived after 45 minutes, i picked Tyler taking her to my room so she can rest there as i went to the pack hospital
I met with Doctor Eskimo Joe, who was a turned/bitten werewolf. She was human before what happened to Rosa's brother and she was changed coz she was in the wrong place at the wrong dangerous time. But good thing is she adapted to how our species live faster
Mrs Joe as she preferred to be called, she studied werewolf, human and family medicine that is why she's our most trusted doctor
After running some tests,
"He looks like he went into shock and this critical condition was brought on by the sudden drop in blood flow through his body. From what you told me it seems like he took it very hard. Anyway, he will probably wake up within few hours or Tomorrow morning and please bring him a change of clothes", Mrs Joe explained to me,
but as a werewolf i could feel that she was not telling me everything
"Is that all Mrs Joe", i asked with my serious voice, showing less to none emotions
"uh, no..." she said hesitating
Caiden(my wolf) was now getting angry, we hate liars and as if Mrs Joe could feel it,
"Beta Thomas, look i know you worried about your friend but i would rather talk to the patient about what i found on those other tests because it looked like its personal", she said quickly
"Yes but..."
"Thomas", Tyler shouted as she entered the pack hospital in a hurry as she saw me in the hallway
"Where is Luca?, sorry hi", she asked me and as she saw Mrs Joe, she greeted her
i sigh
"Okay Dr Joe, Thank you", dismissing Mrs Joe and turning back to my mate.
Tyler Princess Ashford, she is the most beautiful girl in every aspect and i love her so much...
no, did i say i love her? Its really not like that,
I mean...okayy whom am i kidding, I have fallen in love with her the very first day i laid my eyes on her that day she was defending Luca and the bond between us just make me more crazy about her.
As i looked at her right now, its like she wasn't my feisty little cute rabbit. I saw it fit that i call her my little rabbit as i once caught her eating a carrot under the table as she was hiding from the teacher, i smile at the memory
She had tears rolling from her eyes as she ran to hug me, tightly i might add
I could see that she was broken and i think there's more to the story than Luca fainting
'But for now let us not make her tell us, lets comfort mate', Caiden said sadly as he couldn't take our mate state
After our hug , Tyler asked to see Luca so i took her to his room and as we stayed there for few hours without doing anything , well Tyler was sitting near his bed quietly while i was reading a book called GAMBLE OF LOVE by SmileySmiles07 (Wattpad)
I realized i need to go back to the apartment to take some clothes for Luca to change when he wakes up and a hoodie for my little rabbit as it was getting late and a little bit cold.
"Heyy, am going to take some clothes for Luca and hoodie for you. I will be back as soon as i can okay?", i told Tyler as i kissed her forehead and she hummed opening a book that she took in my room
As i went to the apartment I asked Miranda to get us some food .
Going back to the pack hospital, i entered Luca's room as i saw Tyler on a call , probably telling her dad about not going back home tonight and explaining what happened earlier on as she was crying again.
After she ended the call, i saw anger through her eyes as she looked at me, the anger was not pointed towards me but i also don't know why she was angry
"My little rabbit, whats wrong?", i asked as i approached her
She was now shedding tears of anger and she punched me on my chest continuously and i let her so she could feel better
"ITS ALL BECAUSE OF HER!", she shouted
