"So, how did you find me?" River asked.
River opted to sit amid the beautiful roses, while Lucas sat gracefully on a large rock, watching the bouncing River with astonished eyes.
"I did not find you. You called for help, and I just happened to be on duty." Lucas answered, picking his words carefully.
"What do you mean?" River asked, looking at Lucas quizzically as his bounce dimmed a bit.
"You called out to master, and I happen to be on patrol," Lucas explained.
"Who is your master?" River asked, getting more confused.
"God."
The simple answer was enough to throw River into a fit of cough as he choked on mere oxygen; Lucas leaned forward to pat River's head tenderly. River spoke up after calming down;
"Ah! I get it now! It was just an exclamation! I have made that statement many times, but I had never for once found myself in a beautiful garden!" River almost screamed, looking at Lucas with wide eyes.
